EMERGENCY UPDATE - Joey just hurt himself

First two good updates:

Doobie was neutered last Thursday and is doing really well, save now I think he is constipated versus having loose stool.... working on that...

Lulu had another eye exam on Saturday:  her eye is looking really good.  She has a scar on her right eye that will make vision blurry, but thank God she didn't loose it.  Dr. Johnson said as bad as the scar was - she was on the borderline of loosing her eye. Thank you so much for your purrs and support for Lulu.

*****UPDATE: JOEY IS SLOWLY LIMPING ON HIS LEG NOW.
Will take him to see Dr. Johnson if Joey doesn't improve.*****

EMERGENCY:
Joey hurt himself.  The kittens were in the bathroom where they stay for the night.  They hadn't been let out yet to run around in the living room... I heard a horrific yell from the bathroom.  Went in and found Joey unable to put weight on his left hind leg.  He refuses to walk on it.  I picked him up and checked his leg.  The leg moves and he doesn't cry out.  He may need X-rays.

THERE IS NO MONEY FOR THE VET.... I HAVE NO PERSONAL FUNDS UNTIL THE 24TH.

ALL CARE CREDIT FUNDS ARE GONE.
THE DEFERRED INTEREST HAS TAKEN ALL FUNDS.
ACCOUNT IS NOW OVER THE CREDIT LIMIT.

PLEASE PRAY FOR JOEY.

Thank you.
Katie Kat.

Sending Purrs & Prayers from all of us at Purrchance To Dream

Kittens! I am happy Joey is slowly limping on his leg. I wish I could help but I am not able to now. Cats are great at self-healing and maybe try to keep him still (not so easy, I know). Yesterday my kitten Alice played so fiercely she started to hyper ventilate - scared me silly! She is fine now and that toy is hidden away.
I am sending lots and lots of purrs and I hope that helps.

Oh, I do hope little Joey's leg heals soon. I KNOW what it's like to have a wonky leg. I'm gonna send out some tweets and shares 'bout your blog, ASAP.

Purrs,
Nissy

Oh, big purrs for Joey. We're glad to hear he's putting some weight on it.

Kittens sometimes knit up remarkably well on their own from scary things. When the head peep picked up Ashton from the highway median, she couldn't stand, and the head peep took her to the vet for mercy euthanasia. The vet wanted to see if anything was broken, and then insisted on sending her home to "see how she did", and she started to stand and walk on her own. We hope Joey is as lucky and heals up on his own without needing a vet trip. Paws crossed and lots of purrs.

I so wish I could give you even a small donation, but I'm stretched too thin right now. As it stands, I won't be able to get my own cavity taken care of until September or October and it really hurts. :(

Is there a low-cost vet in your area? We have one here in Denver that's been a life-saver for people like me on fixed incomes. :)

We will definitely purr and pray for him! Please keep us posted.
