Katie the Mom helped us take our selfies just before we went into the K-State Mobile Vet unit in Manhattan, Kansas... on Furry Day - 10 o'clock Friday Morning.

Now we are at Cat Tails Manhattan getting loves and yummy foods... We will be fostered furry soon to help us keep socializing til we visit Petco where we will wow the sockies off uf evfurry bodies who meets us!!!  Please purr fur us dat da bestest furever mommies and daddies find us furry soon!

Jeremiah Midnight Gets Nuetered Next Week!!

Hallelujah Update! A friend of mine called who lives in another town and she is going to fund JayMee and two of my foster girls to be fixed next Friday the 15th! Just have to travel to another town. Thank you all fur your purzz - Jaymee's neutering will take place next week, which is better since he just got his vaccinations on Monday.... and my friend can help Jaymee find a mew home, too.  Purrz from Katie the Mom. 

Update: Asking fur Purrs fur Jeremiah Midnight that all goes well with hims neuter surgery tomorrow (correction, next Friday the 15th). We have never used El Paso for surgery before… so this will be a first. Always worried there because they have tons of dogs and so dog oriented…yet they are only $50.00 and take Care Credit. Looking for other options... Stay tuned.

We are furry thankful that Jeremiah Midnight.... got hims shots on Monday.... him likes being called JayMee fur short. The Mom said, Hi JayMee before they gots out of the car Monday and he looked so sweet at her likes... am you talking about me? I likes that sound fur me. Duz you luvz me?

He has gained a whole pound - now 8 lbs and his owie is healing nicely. Dr. Johnson said to do Tresaderm for his ears cause they still a bit itchy.

Electricians were at the vet's office rerouting the electronics so kitty room was not available. So they just took J.M. Back where Dr J took care of him in the surgery area. The only photo mom gotted was JayMee in hims carrier.

He will be getting him boy operayshuns tomorrow...(correction!!! Next Week - see update at the top)

Also the Mom was wondering if any other Kitty pawrent has heard about certain vaccinations having some ingredient that may cause kitty cancer?  Dr. Johnson used some expensive vaccinations that don't have this antigen and well we just can't afford that fur every kitty and now Mom and worried...  like the rabies shot was 33.00 (our discount made it 24).

P. S. I am 14 years old now! Mom doesn't know my real birthday, but my gotcha day is in January.... Please keep purring fur me too that I stay health fur more years to come.

Jeremiah Midnight at the Vets Yesterday

Update Jeremiah Midnight is negative for FIV and FeLV!! We are so very thankful for donations to help him and other kitties - Will have a mew post furry soon. //Hello?? I can't tell you what humans called me before. Auntie Silvia calls me Midnight. Katie Mom likes Jeremiah Midnight. I am very glad to be inside a home again. I am just under a year old and need to have my gentleman surgery.

I am glad to be loved again. I am thankful to be in a home even if I am in the bathroom until the Katie Mom knows if I have a bad virus like Leukemia or FIV...

I sure hope I don't have that. Katie Mom didn't have enough funds to get my test yesterday though (about 38.00 dollars needed)

Here I am at the vets. This nice vet assistant helped check me out too.  They were very nice to me and I purred all the time to show my appreciation at being loved and checked on. I did want to jump on top of the cabinet but they did not let me do that.
I weighed about 7 pounds and 2 ounces, although should weigh a few more pounds. I hope getting worm meds and eating yummy foods helps me gain more weight.

And then Dr. Johnson checked my ears and listened to my heart and looked at my wounds. 

I have ear mites so I have to haz meds fur that.  

I have a half circle scar on my right leg where I almost lost a lot of skin.

It scabbed over with my fur on top. My leg is healing well and no abscess though.

Mom still needs to buy my antibiotics cause the meds at home were not enough. I has a sore toe too and it keeps bothering me so I licks it alot and I was limping this morning.



The vet bill yesfurday was $97.00 (care credit) and I still needs antibiotics ($18), FIV/FeLV test ($38) and vaccinations (rabies $24, Leukemia $30, FVRCP $17) . Then I will get my gentleman surgery. Can you helps me get my antibiotics, tests and shots?

Furry Good Mewz Fur Dash and Blind Kitties

 





Friday brother and I took two blind kitties to a forever foster in Manhattan, Kansas.. These two boys are related to Baby Girl and the Ninja Kittens who are still hanging out in my bathroom waiting to go to their forever home.

I took them to the vet before brother and I drove to Manhattan, Kansas. Baby Boy 1 and Baby Boy 2 hanging out in carriers waiting for the Vet who was late getting back to his clinic...

 




Then when the vet finally came, I forgot to take photos! Dr. Johnson checked their eyes and the blindness is not being caused by cataracts. The pupils responded to light and Kitty Boy 1 kind of reacted to a cotton ball falling in front of him. They don't follow the movement of my hand. The blindness must be something neurological. Their mew foster and Cattails Rescue Manhattan, the rescue supporting her will have the kitties checked out at the College of Veterinary Medicine in Manhattan.

Here are the blind kitties first selfies in their mew home. They are hanging out in luxury suites while getting to know their mew hangout. Their mew foster mommy reports that they are getting lots of loves and cuddles and love being held.  A mew photo from today. Boy 1 is in the Luxury Suite and Boy 2 is sitting outside.  Their foster mommy just texted me that their mew Foster names are Marco and Polo! Marco is the three year old with white on his chest and Polo is the seventh month old boy... Purrz dear sweeties that all goes well fur your little boy oppurayshuns furry soon!

"Sit Dash!"

Just about a week ago, I posted goofy Dash my foster dog up on Facebook again..I was so worried about him not having an indoor home yet and weather changing soon. and the bestest home responded - a family with two other bull mastiffs! They came yesterday afternoon to pick him up. Dash finally has a real home!!! Dash was so excited to meet new people that he didn't eat his lunch! We had to work with him to calm down. They brought one of their bull mastiffs who has been trained as a service dog. They visited with him in the back yard for almost an hour before leaving. Here he is learning to sit for a milk bone from his new human sister. His new Mastiff girl friend behind him is Piper.

We are still needing to raise funds to get Baby Girl and the Ninja kittens fixed and to their forever home in Junction City. Unfortunately Spay and Neuter of Kansas refused to let me use their services, because I said these kitties were "rescued." For some odd reason, they don't help rescues get babies fixed before they go to a new home. Their new mommy would have to call and only if she lives in Wichita or moves there. (😿 What Spay and Neuter doesn't know is that I had been hoping to help them help more pets get fixed by raising funds in the near future... hmmm).

I am going to speak to Cattails and see if they can get Baby Girl and her kittens fixed if I raise the funds. Right now I know we will need at least $200.00 raised. Mommy Lady:  You two and your sisfur Hope, brofur Oliver and Mama Baby Girl aka Lady Grey are going to lives with a furry sweet lady in Junction City. She mights even give you mew names. The names you haz nows are for your Ninja kitten training secret identities...  Before you can go to your mew home, we haz to raise funds fur your surgeries and shots and stuff.

We are going to need at least 45.00 per girl kitty. Oliver will only need 35.00  That is if we can get evfurry one into Spay and Neuter of Kansas - that is about 215.00 dollars.  (If we can't go there, then the next place is Kansas Humane Society and that is 60 each and does not even include shots! )  We will gets a you caring ups by the next blog post.

Manhattan, Kansas and a foster home (or forevers... ).  Katiez Furry Mewz will be paying for their shots and one dose of flea meds...  Which will come to about 150.00. Right now due to helping another kitty get seen last week who had lots of neglect from terrible ear mites... we only have about 71.00.  A furry kind person sent 50.00 for Gordo to check hims teeth. 

Howsumever, Gordo is doing better right now (thank goodness) - and so we can use the funds to help the blind kitties, leaving about 30.00 still needed for their vet visit.   tomorrow.

Here are some photos from the kitty transport on Sunday. Everything went furry well with getting the kitties to the next person... Bonnie was our first pick up. Bonnie is mobility challenged - missing back feet and no tail... such a furry sweet girl!

We took Bonnie from Wichita to Salina where she went with another kitty named Gracie onward to other drivers to get them to Colorado. Bonnie and Gracie needed a towel between them since they didn't know each other.

In Salina, we picked up Gracie's Mama (aka Mommaz) and her 3 sisfurs and took them to Oklahoma to meet their forever Mommy! Samantha one of the kittens was hyperventilating when we picked up Mommaz and Kittens in Salina... getting hot that day. Howsumever, by the time we got to Oklahoma, Samantha was playing with my fingers!

Itty Bitty Ninja Kitten Meeting

In honor of Summer's Cat World Domination Day Party yesfurday... (and World Domination Kitty Mewz)

At today's Ninja Cat meeting we introduces you to four mew Ninja Kittens and their Ninja Mom, Baby Girl.


 

Here am their furry first Selfie... they was borned on June 5. 

Their Mama, Baby Girl am just over a year old - borned in April 2016. Baby Girl and her mew ninja kittens are staying in bathroom fur now while they gets old enough to start their takeover training in few more weeks...

Katie Mom tooks kittens and mom fur vet checkup yesfurday to gets antibiotics fur kittens eyes. 

Baby Girl has Mysterious Fever, pawsibly caused by one of the following Ninja Cat Enemies: Zombie Dinosaurs, SPECTRE (Bond) or Chaos (Get Smart).

Dr. Johnson, a Ninja Cat Suppurrter, gave Katie Mom Clavamox, a good antidote fur Mysterious Fever.  Please keep these mew Ninja Kittens and their Ninja Mom in your purrz...

Also Auntie Silvia's Mama Kitty Narcisca has not been well, not eating right and having diarrhea... we sure could use more funds to takes her to vet and get her well too.
