Hi Everyone!  Beautiful signs of spring... Flowers blooming.  Will show you some of my Mom's (cats call her Nana) in the next post.

Also Thankful to be able to dance the following for Passover celebration tomorrow night... May or may not get someone to videotape it for me.  This video was taken at Annette Hedke's funeral, the wife of Kansas State Rep, Dennis Hedke.  (Apologies for the clicking in the video... and the woman who gets up in the middle.)



Well our new format needs some more tweaking... the info looks too repetitive. Will work on changing the layout and template this weekend to something less cluttered. Going to create pages for all those linkies on the side too! Also will create some pages that show all the kitties here at Katiez Katz. Due to space and city regulations - my fur kids are living in four different homes... Three of those homes are in danger of going back for taxes.

JOEY: Well The Shockers lost to Notre Dame so they am out of the NCAA Tournament. Now we haz Roses background for Spring!

Leaping Lizards! Mom saw a Deer Wednesday Night!

Mom had gone to dance practice for Passover presentation - the congregation meets way on the north east side of town, actually just barely inside town. On the way home it was rather dark cause of rainclouds, a deer leaped cross the road. Mom couldn't believe her eyes, so she caught up with another driver and waved out the window. "Hey was that a deer? The passenger in the other car said Yes!!

Well happened too fast to gets a photo and the deer was about two cars ahead. In the dark it looked like a big dog. I never met a deer and don't know if I want to. But Mom said that was a nice ending to the day, since earlier she had to take Jazpurr to the vet. Mom show you why.

Jazpurr gotted a rash on his back from very bad fleas. Mom forgot macro button - rash am hard to see.

Mom thought fleas was goned. So Jazzy went to vets and got steroid meds and Revolution.

MOM: So far The rash is healing. The Vet gave him prednisolone tablets for the next 3 weeks. But Jazzy loves to eat and has gained 2 pounds since Dr. Johnson saw him last. He really needs a diet. Dr. Johnson said that canned foods can help kitties lose weight, but not too fast. I didn't know that canned food helped loose weight, but Dr. Johnson said that canned food is lower in carbs than dry, even Friskies. I bought some special diet Friskies Indoor formula and will see how that goes, since Jazzy and his brothers, Boo Boo and Jordi tend to get loose stools on canned food. Will give you another report on how Jazzy is doing later this week.

Marvelous Monday - Jazzpurr Am All Better

Hiya to all our Furry Friends and Pawrents,

I am all better! The Lady wanted to make sure afore we toled you.

The Mom Lady thinks your prayers were why I made an easy and quick recovery. Dem yucky pills helped but how come Ize feeling so wonderful so soon?  

Even Lil Bear tooks longer den me!  Nows that I'm feeling so much better, the Lady can helps me find my furever home.
 
Until then, if that Lady will just find the laser dot thingy so I can chase it and get some exercise!

Wonderful Wednesday - Jazpurr says Thank You

Hellos... I am still sniffling some.  I am sitting near the humidifier.  My appetite am back and I am eating healthy weight food frum Purina.  I am being a good boy and letting the lady give me yucky pills.
I hates them, but the Lady gives me tasty stuff afterwards.  

I hopes to feel like exercising and chasing the laser toy furry soon.

Jazpurr is slowly feeling better

Jazzie is slowly feeling better....He is still sniffling. Yet he's staying out of the carrier more and even wanted scritches from Uncle Mike yesterday morning.  He starting objecting to taking his meds (good sign he has some energy again!)  

I'm going to let the Doctor know his progress today.  It really concerns me that Jazz isn't getting better very quickly.  The clavamox doesn't seem to help as well as the doxocycline did for Lil Bear.  Sometimes that means a change in antibiotics to completely get over a secondary infection.  I've been told by several vets that white cats sometimes have a rougher time healing.  Will keep you all posted.

Jazpurr getting weighed

Please keep Jazpurr in your purrz and Prayers as the Mew Year starts... He is having hard time getting over this cold.  Your purrz and prayers, plus antibiotics and the Chlorpheniramine are helping a lot. 

He still has the sniffles, but nothing like the awful scarey clogged up sound he was making Sunday and Monday. His nose is staying pink the past two days versus the scarey purple color he did have.  Although we can't isolate Jazpurr in the bathroom, since Oreo is taking refuge there, our big sweet white gentle boy spends most of his time resting in a comfy carrier with the gate off. 

We are running a vaporizer in the room he shares with Dad Tommy, his brothers and sister Miri.  Tommy has been sneezing so may need to give him a half Chlortab as well.  More updates Later.

JasPurr Gots a bad kitty cold

The vet checked Jaspurr's lungs and oxygen level in his blood. His lungs looked good and his oxygen count was still in the normal range.  So far he has a bad upper respiratory infection.  Jazzie is back home now and will be taking antibiotics and getting steam therapy.  Please keep Jaspurr in your purrs that we caught infection in time.  -The Mom, aka Katie Kat.

Quick urgent post Jaspurr not breathing good

 The Mom was getting ready to post about How the car am working now and we loves our Chrissymouse prezzies.  Then she checked on Jazpurr  (aka Jaspurr) and he is not breathing well.  Some of the older kitties have been sneezing, but nothing serious until now.  The Mom and Uncle Mike are going to take him to the emergency vets... pleze keeps us in your purrs.

We will post abouts our Santa Pawz prezzies from Jobi, Fisher and Kitties at Ask Fisher and an updates on Jazpurr as soon as pawsible.
