Helloo? Hello? 

My name am Bootsie Woo. I am a furry shy girl and don't blog much anymorres. I used ta blogs wif Mom Katie long times ago.


When I was kitten, 3 months old back in November, 2007, I gotted saved from a salvage yard and had a furry bad bite on my shoulder Da Mom tooks me to vets and had my shoulder drained and I gotted all betters. You kin reads my story here.

Dat am hard to reeds, cause I wernt good at English then.

Here I am as a young 8 month old, still furry small girl - playing wif a shoo string in May 2008. The Mom didn't have a good camera back then and the only digital photos had bads pixel numbers.

Back in 2008, the Mom lost her loverly home with all the wonderful rooms fur us kitties and we all had to lives in old house dats used to be mom's grandparent's home and three of us kitties still live there.

I am now over 8 years old and here am my newest selfie, hiding under a chair last Summer.

My eyes are closed cause of da flashy thing. I still love rolling around on everything. I lives with Maxwell Tigger who am about 7 and Katie Kitty Too who am 12.

We need your purrz, cause we don't has enough heat in dis old home cause the electricity needs rewiring and it am very cold now. The mom puts up blankies on the windows and runs one heater in the living room fur us.

The Mom can't move us to her two bedroom bungalow, cause of the kitties there who need homes asap and our room needs remodeled (no window-no ventilation). The city where her mew house am won't let more than 4 kitties live in one home (and that's with a license)...  Mom worries about us every day.  If you would like to know more about our situation and how you can helps, please sends us an email to laugh_safely @ yahoo.com and Mom will share privately.

Silvia and Her Kitties.
This is a hard update. Thank you all for helping Silvia and her kitties make it to the new year... until she could find a place to care for her cats. As of yesterday, Guero was still having pee problems and possible fever.

Found out today that Silvia took Guero to ER yesterday, because he was howling from trying to go. Cost: $100 visit. $65 sq fluid, exam $40, lab urinology $100 (did not need). She wrote: "...just wanted his bladder flushed and they did more than I asked." The home owner's wife (where she has been cleaning) helped with her bill.

Last night after Guero came back from the vet, his brother Gordo got mad and bit Guero hard. Trying to get some Vetericyn over to him at least. But Katiez Furry Mewz simply does not have any more funds to help Guero at this time. He still needs an xray.

This has been a very hard decision for Silvia to make. As of now, she may have found a foster home for her babies and hipes to move from the motel soon. She wants the 50.00 that is in Paypal right now to go toward paying on Guero's previous vet bill. But I am going to give it to the motel. After that - have no idea how she will pay the hundred needed, unless funds come in for donations.... ***

Here is what she told me today, "As of now it's becoming too much to get him checked or surgery. So now I'm deciding to place all 5 cats with friend who fosters and places for adoption. It's hard to let them go, but I need to move forward and find a home for them who can provide care. I will keep in touch with you this week through here (Facebook) to let u know how things are going. About the Lion painting... with the lack of response to the auction so far, I have decided to end the auction on Tuesday. If no other bids by Tuesday the 12th, I will give the painting to Ellen Pilch of 15 and Meowing for free since she is the only bid and she really can't afford to buy. Joey here... I was snoopervising Katie Mom take photos of stuffs to sell... before I crawled under the bed and got in trouble... snoopervising boxes of Christmas wrapping paper...  but Mom they're crinkly!

Katie took this photo and made me look all crinkly like wrapping paper.. so how come I can't have fun too?  I don't get it.

Katie had a long day looking after kitties... then tonight - shopping and cooking and taking photos... and tonight starts the auction of Katie Mom's furry furst painting of 2016!  

We showed a scanned photo earlier this week... Here is a photo of the painting sitting on the bed beside me.  9x12 on 136lb acrylic paper...

Ellen Pilch of 15 and Meowing started the bidding at $5.00 (+5.00 shipping).

Update on Silvia:  So far Guero is doing fairly well, but he had some Pee War problems today, just not like he has been... yet.  Silvia want to still get him an xray to make sure there isn't any stones...  Also there is 50.00 in donations for her rent.  She worked about 9 hours (as far as I know) this past week on cleaning the house and the owner is trying to wiggle out of paying her cash again.  Last time he paid her with a vacuum cleaner vs cash... This time, I'm asking Silvia to see if he will just pay the 9hr x $8.00 ($72.00) by just paying that much on her rent... Please keep the situation in your prayers....  -Katie.

The Mom gotted a text message last night from a couple in Hutchinson who has fallen in loves with me! Whoo Hoo! Her and I am waiting to finds out if they can adopt me. They has to ask their landlord first.

Oh do keeps me in your purrz thats Katie has finally found my furever home.

In other mewz. Guero am doing really well.
Katie and Silvia thinks dat canned foods from Hills prescription may be doing the goods he needs
- getting rid of the yucky crystals.

Us Katiez Katz are sure purring fur him. Silvia has been working some too. So we see how much her gets paid and then we will know what helps we needs fur dat rents.

Thankful Thursday with Angel the Fetch Kitty

Hiya everyone!

Angel here with the Thankful Thursday Blog Post....

The furry furst thing I am thankful for is this wonderful toy Katie Mom gave me... Just the best! Mousie toys are the bestest though. 

Katie and I had a wonderful photo session of me running in and out of this mewravoluos hunky strips of brown packing paper! I even hid my mousie under one of the strips, just to pounce on the paper!  The paper came from packing a Chrissymouse present - TV antenna to hook up to the digital converter box - whatever that means... All I know is I gotted this loverly toy.  Mom said the wire in the cable for the antenna just brokes from being bent up in the box and now her has to takes da antenna back. But we don't haz to takes back the paper! Yay!

I am also furry thankful that I might be finding my forever home furry soon. Several folks are interested in me on Face Book - I sure hope one of them is my forever Mom or Dad.

Katie Mom am furry thankful that she has been blogging for 10 years!  Our last blog post says, "under catstruction..." cause Katie gotted busy looking after kitties in different locations and Nana Human (that's Katie'z Mom)...

KFM way back when in 2006 was started under a different name... Got Chutzpah.  (The name was changed to Katiez Furry Mewz at some point and a mew blogging URL in 2009 - looong story... -Katie Kat.)

How Mom Katie Met KC and ML Before Katie tell you what else her am thankful abouts... here am post in 2006 that gotted most comments...this furst time Katie gotted comment from ML, who started the Cat Blogosphere.  (Really wish I knew how ML, KC and the Giggleman Gang were doing now. She helped soo much when I lost my home. -Katie)

We're all thankful fur the helps that Silvia and her kitty Guero am getting. Silvia gotted enough funds to pay fur rent this week! Hooray! And 20.00 donation left over for next week or fur Guero's vet bill. Her am working this week too, cleaning a home. But don't know when her get paid, how long that job will last or ifs there be another home to clean - please keep purring fur Silvia to find a long term job.  


Now fur Guero - him had to go back to vets twice this week to help him with Pee Wars. Seems like Brian of Brian's Home wins that war a lot. Katie and Silvia am purring that Guero will win the war too.

All the Christmas Snail Mail cards! While I was playing jump and fetch in the paper strips, Katie tooks photos of all them cards.

Katie was furry tireds and only had energy to send out snail mail cards to folks who donated to Katiez Furry Mewz this year. We hopes that folks who didn't gets a snail mail card from us did gets our email card. if you Missed getting that, please lets Katie Mom know.

 









And Finally one last thing that Katie Mom am Thankful fur! Her furry furst painting of 2016! Dis painting will be puts up fur Auction. Me lets Katie Mom finish.

Hiya Folks! Giving everyone a heads up. Early this morning, I finished my Furry Furst Painting of 2016! Judah the Lion is 9x12 Acrylic on 136lb Canson Acrylic Card Stock. He will be auctioned off to the highest bidder on my blog Katiez Furry Mewz. hopefully this Saturday for Caturday Art blog hopping. 

I haven't painted Judah this size before, not sure what price to start the bid at. Shipping between 3.00 and 5.00. Took several hours to finish. Any suggestions on start amount?

Each Judah Lion painting will be slightly different -one of a kind. This purrtrait is the first one. Proceeds will be put in the kitty (bank) to help the kittiez at KFM! 

Right now we have vet bills from Guero ($223.00), plus two kitties who need spayed and my oldest sweetie has been sneezing and needs to go to the vet asap.
