Flash The Hero Cat Is Gone OTRB

(Update: yet I came back at just the right miraculous moment that CPR brought him back long enough for him to say goodbye, I love you.)

Flash, my brother's neighbor's cat is gone. He died yesterday at 2:19pm. Of all our neighbor's cats, he was the only one who loved hanging out at our house, visiting our cats and eating with them. He was our Joey's half brother.

I hadn't been feeling well since early Sunday morning, some kind of cold. I had not been to my brother's house until yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

I came over to find Flash under my brother's truck in the front yard, cold and unresponsive, foam in his mouth... I tried to revive him - CPR - he came back long enough to look at me, so slowly licked the foam from his lips, then he was gone. 

We don't know what happened. My brother last saw him Monday morning. Flash was walking slowly back to his house. My brother hurried off to work, thinking I would be over later to let him inside... (and I could have - I was getting over the cold. Something told me I needed to go over but I didn't listen. Instead I was disheartened about needing help for an elderly woman's cats.)

Brother didn't text me to let Flash in, he didn't let me know that Flash didn't show up when he got home from work...that Flash was missing...that he didn't see Flash Tuesday morning.

Katie Mom started recording parts of a video at the exhibit.  After phone camera was sideways by mistake, Katie Mom turned phone back upright. But when video plays on phone, images am sideways and then upside down!?! Mouses!

Mommy's Friend lived in another town gazillion miles away. Yet I walked into Mommy's Friend's house same day and time Nana's (Mommy's Mom's) Russian Blue Cat Kitty went over Rainbow Bridge. Her lived over 20 years old even with FIV. This day was also one year anniversary of mommy's brother's accidental death.  My name am Katie Kitty Too for my mom Katie and fur Kitty cause my mommy and me was meant to be. I am now 12 years old.

Me get to visit forever home tomorrow! Please send purrz and prayers that I will like this lady and her fambly. This furry nice lady has a kitty and 3 boys. She has been waiting long time to meet me. She loved  my video on Face Book showing how I play fetch.

 Before visiting tomorrow, Let me tell you bout the purrducts me tried from Chewy.com!  Me gots to try three things that the Mom picked out and one that we weren't expecting.

The three things were (links no longer available at Chewy):

Temptations Snacky Mouse Cat Treat Toy

Ziwipeak Good-Cat Venison Fish Jerky 3 Oz

Orijen Lamb FD Cat Treats 1.25 oz

The One we weren't expecting but glad to try too:  Vetrio Perio Plus Cat Treats 60 Ct

Mom read at Chewy that these treats "have been designed to encourage compliance." They are supposed to help with plaque control and fresh breath. "These tiny bites have two delicious layers that represent a targeted and hassle free delivery system to support cats’ dental health in between cleanings."

They smelled goods, but I had trouble biting into these big treats. They were not really "Tiny Bites" like the info said. Mom had a very hard time breaking one up and I only ate one....  

Mom checked with some kitties at other KFM locations and they thought the same thing... They smell good, but hard to bite into!  Some kitties ate a piece that Mom broke off, but played with the "Big Bites" untill they fell on the floor...

Angel's Purrview: 
Dearest Chewy, thank you for letting me try these treats, even if I could not bite them.  Dearest Vetrio Science, please fix Perio Plus Cat Treats so they are more in compliance with kitty mouths and Human fingers... Please make them biteable and more tasty.

Now for the TASTE TEST:

First Thing Mom let me try Ziwipeak Venison Jerky and they were good.

Second, The Mom let me try Orijen Lamb Treats and they were good too.

Yet I really liked one more than the other... as you can see in this taste test photo.  Mom put both open bags on the counter. I jumped up and ignored one and went crazy over the other!  Me apologizes for jumping up before Mom had time to get both packages with the labels forward!

SO FUR ME - THE WINNER OF THE TASTE TEST WAS ORIJEN!

Now Fur The Funs!

Since Temptations has corn in their ingredient, I didn't get to try them, although some other KFM kitties thought they was delicious.  Howsumever, the Mom filled the Snacky Mouse with Orijen Lamb Treats and I had fun rolling Snacky Mouse all over the place until I gotted all my treats out and ate them!






The next day, though - I decapitated Snacky Mouse... mol and hid his body for ransom. Mom finally found his body and put it back together.

Dearest Temptations, please consider taking corn out of your snacks so that more kitties can eat them. I loves the Snacky Mouse, he is very fun, but easy for smart kitties to take off his head. Yet that adds to the fun sometimes too!

Update on Silvia and her kitties: Last week and this weekend, Silvia has been working to pay off what she owed her employer from her vet bills... which means right now need 75.00 for rent On Tuesday. 

Purrz of thanks to all our blogger network friends who helped Guero with purrz, prayers and support. You all are Pawsome!!!

The day Guero was prescribed the Prozasin, he had stopped eating and drinking... he was giving up.  Within 8 hours, he was able to relieve himself and started eating again.

 Guero is doing well at the moment... So thankful his body is responding well to the Prozasin, which the vet prescribed at the very last minute - when we thought he had no choice but to go into surgery the next day...all the donations for Guero will be used for his treatment whether by surgery or medication.

Now fur short update abouts our friend Silvia and her kitties....   

Silvia's Ronnie

Well we don't know yet if my mom Silvia has the job at HR Block fur sure... howsumever, Silvia has been cleaning this new home to gets it ready fur sale.... but instead of giving her some moneys this weekend - she gots a mew vacuum cleaner!  We was going to email secretly dat vacuum cleaner gotted broke so she wouldn't know we was raising funds fur dat... but now her gotted a Bissell Power Lifter.  Hooray!

Howsumever, we haz 110.00 dollars for rents on Tuesday instead of the vet bills... that means we need 40.00 for rent, and another 110.00 for vets. 
And then we see how fings go for the last week in December.  Please help us purr that the work on house cleaning will be steady for a few weeks and that the HR Block job comes through or another steady job as soon as pawsible.

We have some furry good mewz, yet still need mewz fur purrz...from the Power of the Paw...  This week is paid! And there is 110.00 toward next week's rent or toward paying the vet bill, depending on how much Silvia needs for next week's rent.   

She is getting paid for HR Block training, yet not sure if she will be among those who are finally "hired." And she started cleaning the new home yesterday and will work more on getting it ready this weekend. 

The good thing is the contractor who built the home will be able to pay her quickly, while HR Block will be later...  Yet if she doesn't get hired on with HR Block, Need to find steady income for January. 

All the kitty kids are doing well - Please pray that income will be available in January for steady work and that a real place to call home will be found.

 Praying for God's blessing on you and yours too!

Now fur a update on Silvia and the kitties from Mom
All the cats are doing well, yet Silvia needs our purrz for the training at HR Block. She applied for customer service rep versus tax preparer job because been too long since she took tax prep classes. 

The CSR positions are full, yet a position might open up and she is on the waiting list. 

In the mean time, she has done some tests for the Tax Prep job from the library computer and then from HR office, but her scores were low. She is waiting for her log in ID and will come over to borrow my computer when she gets it. She was given temporary one, but it's not working.  I'm hoping she can come over this weekend and I can help her study, but she may have to go to the office and sign in from there.  She may not make the cut for the Tax Prep job.  I am praying that  a position opens up in the customer service and that the training is easier to pass.

However, the job to clean the brand new home is ready... She can start cleaning the basement.  I'm finding out when she may do that work.  Best part of the house cleaning job is they will pay her sooner than HR Block.

Happy Easter Passover Post

Hope Everyone Had a blessed Passover / Easter Resurrection Day Weekend. 

(Late posting - haven't felt too well this weekend - all the worry over needing help with property taxes has really upset my stomach. Trying to get a small loan from my bank. Please pray that I am approved.)

This wasn't the post planned -  Planned on posting the video of the I was in at Passover Seder on Friday, but the camera batteries went wacky just as my friend was about to push the button... I will not buy Rayovac rechargeables again after this set will not hold a charge. Energizers and Duracell from now on!

Another friend got the dance on their phone - but will not be able to post it. (For those who don't know I have physical disabilities... my knees are in constant pain.  Dancing helps strengthen my muscles to help me walk daily.) 

Originally posted the other dance video from our Passover (to the song Sanctuary by Marty Goetz - wasn't in this dance) - but had to take it down. (Wondering if any of you got to see the video?)

The dance leader asked not to have any of the dances up on social media. Her words, "we don't have permission of all the dancers or the person who created the dance."

Also promised to share my mother's flowers - but the severe wind from the thunderstorm on Thursday night damaged them.  - Will try to get a pic of her tulips soon.

Instead - a short tail... um tale that happened on Sunday.

Last night I couldn't find Lulu. Her brother Joey showed me where she was! 

HERE IS THE STORY! 

I was so afraid she had run out of the house this morning, but that's not like her... She's afraid to go outside..This morning I left the front door open to run inside and get something and the storm door doesn't catch. The wind banged the door open and shut when I was in another room. When I ran back into the living room, just two of the boys were at the door. I thought I did a kitty count then, yet this evening, I couldn't find her. I even asked Lulu's brother Joey to help me look for her... Well he ran to the door of back room where some of the other kitties stay and began pawing at the door. I went back there with him, but didn't see Lulu. But the kitties in the back were hungry so I went and got their food. Joey ran out of the room with me... Yet when I went back in to feed them, he ran back in!

Last night, I was about to leave a message on Facebook, asking everyone to help pray for her when my brother found her in the back room after all. She was hiding on a shelf! 
Thank you Joey for telling me where Lulu was. 
As soon as she got to the front part of the house, she ran and hid under Uncle Mike's Bed!!!.

So we all had Happy Passover/Easter Resurrection Day weekend after all!

Fear Not Friday Good and Sad Mewz

Talked to the vet Wednesday and come to find out, that Ellie and her sisters did not get meds for Tape Worms in December! They got meddies for all the other baddies!  

So guess what Ellie is going to get today? Yep meds for tape worm baddies. Cause that may be her problem. I saw wormies in her pooh in December and thought they were round worms. The vet assistant said I was describing tape worms. Poor baby, no wonder she is still having tummy problems. Will keep you posted about how Ellie does after deworming. She may have a mew home, but still pending.

Also today, I go to see the doctor about my toe and get scheduled for another x-ray. Still my worst owie though and can't bend it yet, going on seven weeks now.

Yesterday was my birthday. Spent today taking mom to her doctor's appt. Had planned on a kitty trashing party for birthday Sunday, but last night found out a dear friend died tragically yesterday morning.
I can't bring myself to organize a birthday pawty now or to ask for funds for my babies.

Without her, my husband and I would not have met. Her vision led to a beautiful congregation of believers in the Messiah both of Christian and Jewish backgrounds. She never met a person she didn't care about.

Yesterday morning, after picking up snacks for the Bible Study she leads, she tripped near her car in the grocery parking lot. Then hit by an SUV and dragged 15 feet to her death. I am still in shock and sadness.

I know only two other Godly people taken away in such horrific freak accidents, one was singer Rich Mullins.  (The other - prayed for my husband who was sick with the flu and he became well immediately.)
