We haz the bestest Thanksgiving Mewz!

Katie Mom and Uncle Mike are now Licensed Fosters
through We Are Grateful Sanctuary...

Although they am mostly a small dog sanctuary, they helps kitties too. We will be sharing page furry soon about da kitties of KFM.... Some need homes furry soon.

Please takes time to reads the bottom of the post - last night we found out that Pam and Pups, a family with three dogs dat we haz been helping have not eaten since Tuesday - and would not haz any Thanksgiving with out KFM's help. 

Furstly, here are some other things we are furry thankful about:

Willowbend Vet Clinic - Ellie liked the Feliway

Ellie May the kitty who received a blood transfusion is doing much better. (Ellie May's posts) She had been severely attacked by fleas and was very anemic - went to vet on Monday, the 13th. She was so weak that she let the technician get a blood sample from her leg - feliway made a big difference. Then had to be hospitalized at the Emergency Specialty Hospital of Wichita, where she received a blood transfusion Monday night. (She didn't like ER - too many doggy smells and the Feliway alcohol based spray did not work like the diffuser...)

 

At ER - Unhappy.

This ordeal was very hard for her because she had nuerological damage from Advantage flea meds at four months old. She is three years old now (took two years of behavioral modification to retrain her brain to associate touching with food). We are waiting until she is completely well, because she may have to be sedated...

Jeremiah Midnight is negative for leukemia and FIV!!!  (See Jeremiah Midnight's Posts) Howsumever, his owie on his hip does not seem to be healing. Antibiotics have not been helping enough - he may need something local to help besides Vetericyn or another antibiotic - any suggestions would be very helpful.  He will need to be fixed and get hims shots... He is getting very annoyed and being in the bathroom!! He am been slapping Mommy's feets!

Toby went to the vets about hims bottom (Toby's posts) - just needed shaved so him could stay clean - Toby is a furry chubby boy and not good at cleaning hims long fur. Anal glands were fine, bladder was empty and no fever! Dr. Vet recommended non-alcoholic baby wipes to helps him... He is still hiding from his Daddy Uncle Mike though cause Daddy had to clean hims butt of stuck poopies! No poopies no morh but Toby's tummy am furry ticklish! 





Another fing we am Thankful for Silvia and her babies

will haz foods to eats today cause KFM Cares for others too...  and you helps us do that!! (please purr for Silvia who had sum teefs pulled yesfurday.)


We haz another favor to asks of you...(Pam and Pups) Remember us talking abouts a lady with three doggies that is getting evicted cause the rental house am getting torn down? - We are helping her and her family to move into trailer that Center of Hope and KFM helped put the down payment on.  Katie Mom founded out that Pam and her daughter and son in law had nothing to eat yesfurday and will not have anything fur Thanksgiving today.

So Uncle Mike and Katie Mom am getting their Thanksgiving dinners today.... If you could helps Pam and her family has a goods thanksgiving, could you sends a wittle moneys to paypal at laugh_safely at yahoo dot com using gift to friends?

This will help her doggies and Pam's family has foods to eats fur tomorrow too... 

Even 10 dollars per purrson and furkids would helps a lot fur Pam's family and Silvia and her fur kids to haz a goods Thanksgiving.

Borned June 5th, They turned 11 weeks old on Monday and they are furry small for their age.

They lives in Wichita and you can finds outs about them on Mommy Mom's FB profile Kat-Renee Kittel.

Their Mama Baby Girl, aka Lady Grey needs a home too. 


One shy black kitty boy, two outgoing black kitty girls and sweet grey girl. Very smart, love to play. Litterbox trained. Still need first vaccinations. We always ask fur name of potential adopter, address, how many in family, vet reference and if any other pets. No declawing please. Asking for a re-homing donation.

Toby at the Vets Selfie

Hiya internet friends, I hads to go to vets and now I iz wearing the cone of shame...
I lives in a box and won't come out til I feel better and don't haz meddies.

I hurted my bottom on sumpun, Auntie Katie thinks was when I was jumpin into a window.
I am a furry big boy and I might have slipped while getting into the window above the sink. I don't know cause I cant remember. I just remember my owie hurts.


Auntie Katie saw my owie on Wednesday and tooks me to vets.

 Here I am complaining at the vets... Auntie Katie's camera took photo just as I was about to open my mouth and whine about being at the vets and waiting on Dr. Johnson to see us.
 I looks like a Vampire Cat.

Still waiting to see him....

I was a good boy though, just asked Auntie Katie, why Dr. Johnson taking sooo long?

The vet tech said that another pet was going over the Rainbow Bridge and they were consoling his family.  Okay... that makes sense. Auntie Katie and me were furry sad to hear that.

Da vets shaved my bottom and my legs so I could gets well - I was licking my owie and making it worse.  No we not gotted photos of da owie, but it am the size of a dime, and healing furry nicely now. Soon I won't has to wear a cone no mores.

Mom Katiez 56th Birthday Pawty!!!

Before We gets into our pawty celebrations... duz you remember Romeo?

If you hazn't reads about him - Romeo's Story.
Mom Katie and Uncle Mike took Romeo to Kansas Humane Society, using the Reclaim to gets him neutered and finds a home... (Reclaim means if KHS would not adopt him out, we could take him back.) He did furry goods on hims interview and after his opurrayshun, they put him on the adoption floor and tooks hims photos.

Well him didn't looks happy in them photos and Mom and her rescue friends gotted worried after they tooks hims photos down.

Turned out he was just moved to a different area. Well yesfurday (Caturday) a furry goods friend went to check on him to take him to her home... and (drumroll pleeze) ......

Romeo was already ADOPTED!!!! 

Please keep him in your purrz that this adoption is hims purrfect home. Adult kitties are free at KSH...

For some reason all 3 of Silvia's kitty boys keep coming down with crystals and UTI. The Mom and Silvia got them D-Mannose yesfurday and already seems to be helping - one bottle of 120 capsules was 22.00. Also got L-Methionine to help break down the crystals by changing the acid balance. Yet Gordo still needs hims radiograph and bloodworks done again to find out why he keeps loosing weight - was 13 pounds and now 8 pounds.

The Mom bought Pet Well Being Thyroid supplement and waiting for that to come in the mail too. Still need funds to get Gordo to the vets and make sure it is just his thyroid and not something else (gonna be over hundred dollars again.) Silvia had several job interviews last week. Katie Mom and Uncle Mike picked up lots of metal and we have things selling at eBay, but we are still short about 100.00 rent. The bestest birthday present would be money to get Gordo's tests.
