Hiya Furry Friends, Chiquita here having a nice Easy Sunnyday selfie and the last night of Hannukah be tonight. Katie Mom am doing much better from last Sunnyday - turns out may have been an allergy to seasoning or sumpin in the food her ate.

We are doing flashback selfies as this selfie of me was taken on 2017 8th of April. Hanukkah today we remembers Flash who went over the Rainbow Bridge May 2017. Hanukkah 2016 was Flash's furst time to celebrate Hanukkah and him asked lots of questions...

Flash: Wait... Who is Judah Maccabee?

Angel the Fetch Kitty: Is he the guy who Whacked Bees with Hammers?

Katie Too: No! Judah Maccabee saved the Jewish People from the mean King Antiochus Eppiphaneez...who wanted to sacrifice a pig at the temple.  Judah Maccabee and hims brothers fought the Greeks and made them go home. Then they rededicated the temple and found oil for one day to light the menorah, but it lasted 8 days!Judah was called The Hammer, that's what Maccabee means.

Angel: but Joey said he whacked bees.

Lulu: Yep that's what Joey said.
Joey the Nike Cat Hero, Flash's half brother: Oh, I thought his name was Judah Whackabee.

On the Second Day of Hanukkah, my True Love gave to me, Two Matzah Balls and a Picture of Judah Maccabee!

Flash: What are Matzah Balls?
Katie Too: That's like a dumpling made of flour and cooked in chickens. Bear likes chickens.

Lil Bear: but Joey said they were bouncy balls that didn't bounce.
Katie Mom: Depends on how hard the dumplings are... On to the third verse. 


 On the Third Day of Hanukkah my True Love gave to me, Three Sufganyot, Two Matzah balls and a picture of Judah Maccabee!

Flash: What am Sufganyot?

Bootsie rolled around on the floor and lost her kippah again: Dats yummies fur humans with jam and stuffs.  Dey eats dats in Israel at Hanukkah.

 Lil Bear: But Joey said sufganyot was soup to go with chickens in it for the bouncy balls that don't bounce.
Katie Too: Joey!!
Joey: Sounded better than jelly. Unless am catnip jam...

On the fourth day of Hanukkah, My True Love gave to me... four potato latkes, three sufganyot, two matzah balls and A Picture of Judah Maccabee!!

Flash: Okay, what are potato latkes?

Maxwell Tigger: That's potato pancakes and they taste goods with tuna.
Lulu:  Joey said they were potato latch keys made to open the door to the cat food closet.
Joey: or to the tzedakah box - the giving box fur donations and stuffs.

Katie Mom: Joey, you can't make keys out of potatoes... Fifth Verse!!

On the Fifth Day of Hanukkah, my True Love sent to me...
FIVE GOLDEN GELT!!!  Four potato latkes, three sufganyot, two matzah balls... and a Picture of Judah Maccabee!

Flash: ummm... what are gelt? (wondering what Joey has to say this time)
Joey: oh that's just money made of chocolate... we can't eat those.  Now if someone would make them out of cheese...

On the Sixth Day of Hanukkah my True Love Sent to me... Six dreidels spinning, FIVE GOLDEN GELT, four potato latkes, three sufganyot, two matzah balls... and a Picture of Judah Maccabee!

Flash: What are dreidels and they spin? Sounds like fun
(Now Flash had Joey's attention. He sat up excitedly)

Joey: Yes they are lots of funs... They are spinning tops and when humans spin them, you can chase them til they fall over. Dreidels in America have the Hebrew letters Nun Gimmel Hay and Shin which stands for Nes Gadol Haya Sham. (typo fixed), that means A Miracle Happened There. In Israel the Dreidels have a Pay letter instead of Shin for  Nes Gadol Haya Po, A Miracle Happened Here.

Flash: Where did Dreidels come from?

Furry Orange Kittens Update and Mom am Furry Sick

Hiya Furry Peeples!  Chiquita here helping the Mom fur Blogging today.  Just figures though that I finally gotted her up reelly early to gets a blog post dun and her was sick!!  Her throat am all swollen up and don't know why - plz purr fur our Mom. Might be strep. Her has to do lots of talking at work as a telephone interviewer and was going to gets a really goods amount of hours this week. and now her can hardly talk.  Thank you fur you purrz and stuffs.

Well the lady who losted her mommy cat, she kept one kitten to loves and Katie Mom kitty-sat 4 kittens until a rescue picked them up... They just visited fur one day. The Mom found out that three are boys and one seems to be a girl. And her decided the girl was Halo as suggested by Bella Dharma in commints in last post in the photo of the kittens in blue tub! They are 5 weeks old and the boys are over one pound, but the girl was only 15 ounces, and all her wanted to do was sleep in Mommy's shirt! 


They was only with us fur one night and then a wonderful lady from a rescue called Wichita Animal Action League picked up the furry sweeties and tooks them to one of their fosters with lots of room until they are big enough to get fixed and find furever homes!


Here am the four orange kittens under the Christmas Tree at their mew foster home.


We sure hopes they all finds the bestest furever homes fur Christmas and the Mew Year!

This week am gonna be purry busy

So the Mom am getting nervous... about the trip to Manhattan, Kansas on Wednesday morning with Mama and the Ninja kittens...  And Lovey the grey kitty is still having trouble seeing - she is adjusting some tho.

Needs to ask our Cat Tails rescue friend what time to be there again... and how many carriers - can we puts Mama in a carrier, girls in one carrier and Oliver in another?  And how will they behaves? These are furry shy babies who not been on trips afore...

and Pam and her little doggies haz to be out on and moved by Wednesday too, yet the trailer they moving to may not be ready by then. We iz purring that the landlord will let Pam haz times to gets to the new trailer... and be goods about that. 

Mom finks there am a law that we can use and we needs to know what dat law am. After all it only five more days til the first and Pam needs helps to moves. And if her current landlord wants to be difficult, then we can callz KAKE On Your Side - and we will too.

And about the backed up toilet... well still backed up!! Still haz to rent sumpin called an Auger to clean the pipes or call Roto Rooter and we don't haz moneys fur dat. And Mom still going to QT fur bathroom... Don't know why she can't just use another litter box...

I asked Mom why don't we hire a bunch of worms and a mole to clean the sewer.  And she said that the Mr. Mole and Worms Sewer Cleaning went out of business after they hired three Chipmunks named Alvin, Simon and Theodore.
Oh well.

Silvia's Gordo and Ronnie need checkups at the vet. Ronnie is acting up and peeing on the bed and him doesn't do that and Gordo has red in him pee... So we needs purrz fur dat and go to vets fur checkups. Auntie Silvia am watching Ronnie's weight cause Doc wants to do a thyroid test if he loses more. Gordo was losing weight. Her watching him too.  

And we are still trying to catch Chico and his sister Veronica (aka Chica)...  they are just too smart fur traps, yet they will come into Silvia's motel. So please wish us purrz and purrz that we get Chico and Veronica caught and fixed cause Chico just figured out hims sister am a girl yesfurday. And dat means we mights haz kittenz soon.

Furst ofs all, Gordo is doing real goods from hims surgery. Thank you evfurry one for helping him!

Please purr for Ronnie, one of Silvia's cats - him gotted his tail hurted and had to get a shot yesfurday. He runs out of motel room and nots looks fur cars or nuthin. A purrson tried to helps keep him from car coming and grabbed him, but that purrson jerked hims tail too hard trying to catch him. Hims tail was sprained and gotted a shot fur dat... still wants to runs outside and not look where him am going.  Good thing if Mom Silvia yells his name, he stops...Thanks fur your purrz.

Katie Mom haz not gotted that aluminum building torn down yet, still on the list of things to do - we sure hope that Mom gets helps fur dat from her friends - too bad Flash Cat can't help, him busy saving cats somewheres. Dats moneys in that building to helps us kitties in need. The Mom will be selling some rings on eBay from a furry good friend who donated them too. More Mewz later.

Guero at Vets and Hanukkah Song Fur Mew Years Eve

Yesfurday, Guero went to the vets early in the morning 
Him needed to gets antibiotic and a shot fur pain.  Last time he went to the vets they only gave him half a dose of evfurryting insted of full doses... that might be why him had to come backs so soon.

Guero sang the song of Hims People at the vets.

Guero gets UTI's easily cause him no has boy parts no mores... Guero am so goods and only wants loves.

When Guero gotted home, him went sleepy and started feeling betters.  Vet bill was 75.00.

After taking Auntie Silvia and Guero to vets, Katie Mom and Uncle Mike wents to picks up metals and met this doggie named Chloe.  Chloe's daddy gaved an old rusted bench and an air conditioner frame... then off to picks up an exercise bike! And then Auntie Katie tooks an old metal shelf outta da garage old metal cabinet outta basement. Uncle Mikes puts in car parts into da trucks and then off to the recyclers... 360 pounds and about 20.00 - dats was goods and helped pay part of Guero's vet bill.

Todays, Uncle Mike and Auntie Katie gonna picks up more metals and Uncle Mike am going to works on Auntie Silvia's car... Dat's all fur now on Mew Year's Eve. We talks again tomorrows...  Purrz from Katie Kitty Too.
