I am doing much better and have gained my weight back. I even let the Mom pick me up some now, which I didn't let anyone do before - at least while I am eating. I really try to be a good girl, and I love the mom - it's just I have trouble with smells and my brain gets overwhelmed by sensory perception.  All cause I had a rare reaction to Advantage II Flea Meds when I was younger. Now I only gets Revolution to keep the mean fleas away. Mom helps me get the good Me to come out by loving on me while I am eating my favorite canned food.

Jeremiah Midnight, aka JayMee (him gets all lovey when he hears JayMee) went to a good friend in Manhattan on Friday - long two hour drive and soo worth it.  

Our friend is Natalie Young and she has a wonderful organization called CaTTails in Manhattan, Kansas. Natalie helps spay and neuter lots of kitties and also finds them homes too!  Katie Mom and JayMee were one of the few who actually showed up to get the opurrayshun done fur free!  Can you imagine the Mom drove two hours and some folks could not drive fifteen minutes to the clinic to be responsible fur their kitties?

Anyways, JayMee was scared at first - him was shivering and furry quiet which am not like him. He loves to talk. Katie Mom tooks him out of the carrier and held him in the car for a minute to lets him know that he would be okay, before putting him back in the carrier. There were doggies who had to go into mobile clinic first and be sedated fur their surgeries. And then time for Katie Mom to say goodbye and give Jeremiah Midnight's carrier to Natalie.  Joyful and sad too. J. Midnight at vets with owie

Auntie Silvia calls him Midnight and dear boy went thru alot with a mean kitty fighting him - Midnight gotted the worst of the deal with a bad owie on hims hip and scratched up ear. He looked so bad after the fight that someone thought him had died... Miracle of miracles, he survived. All the poor boy knew was bad luck until Auntie Silvia helped save him. She was feeding him until he could trust people again... and then Katie the Mom was able to make friends with him and take him to our house until him gotted well.

Now he will find a forever home and family! Natalie says him is the sweetest boy!  Like a whole mew life fur him in the Mew Year.  Will post updates when we knows more.

And  Auntie Silvia's kitties, Ronnie and Guero - Guero is doing goods right now - Ronnie is a silly boy and wants to carry plastic bottles around - so Auntie Silvia has to watch him alots - and puts soaps in glass dispensers and stuff and let him carry water bottles...  We hads to gets a mew soap dispenser yesfurday cause smarty pants Ronnie found the Dawn bottle that was put away.  So please keeps Ronnie in your purrz that he stays out of trubble!

Hello down there! I want to thank Auntie Silvia fur saving me and to thank you all fur caring and supporting us kitties - especially fur the helps for Auntie Silvia - She has been really struggling and she cares so much.

Without Silvia's help, many cats would not be alive today, including her five cats, and kitties that Katie Mom has helped find homes and Kitties like Chiquita and Miss Peach who live with Katie Mom.

Without Silvia's help, I would not have made it after being terribly hurt.  I could not have gotten well from my wounds or be able to make it to Manhattan Kansas to find my forever home.

Silvia has saved so many animal lives out of her caring heart, now it is her turn to need help. She and her kitties need her family of friends to make it thru Christmas - loving people who care.

Harder at Christmas when your real family have abandoned you... Auntie Silvia knows what abandoned kitties feel because she was abandoned too. After all she cared so much fur me and I was abandoned and scared!!!

Can you help me give her a Christmas this year so we can finds her and her kitties a real home like she wanted fur me too?

Thanksgiving Am For Helping Other Families Too

 

Happy Thanksgiving to One and All

We haz the bestest Thanksgiving Mewz!

Katie Mom and Uncle Mike are now Licensed Fosters
through We Are Grateful Sanctuary...

Although they am mostly a small dog sanctuary, they helps kitties too. We will be sharing page furry soon about da kitties of KFM.... Some need homes furry soon.

Please takes time to reads the bottom of the post - last night we found out that Pam and Pups, a family with three dogs dat we haz been helping have not eaten since Tuesday - and would not haz any Thanksgiving with out KFM's help. 

Furstly, here are some other things we are furry thankful about:

Willowbend Vet Clinic - Ellie liked the Feliway

Ellie May the kitty who received a blood transfusion is doing much better. (Ellie May's posts) She had been severely attacked by fleas and was very anemic - went to vet on Monday, the 13th. She was so weak that she let the technician get a blood sample from her leg - feliway made a big difference. Then had to be hospitalized at the Emergency Specialty Hospital of Wichita, where she received a blood transfusion Monday night. (She didn't like ER - too many doggy smells and the Feliway alcohol based spray did not work like the diffuser...)

 

At ER - Unhappy.

This ordeal was very hard for her because she had nuerological damage from Advantage flea meds at four months old. She is three years old now (took two years of behavioral modification to retrain her brain to associate touching with food). We are waiting until she is completely well, because she may have to be sedated...

Jeremiah Midnight is negative for leukemia and FIV!!!  (See Jeremiah Midnight's Posts) Howsumever, his owie on his hip does not seem to be healing. Antibiotics have not been helping enough - he may need something local to help besides Vetericyn or another antibiotic - any suggestions would be very helpful.  He will need to be fixed and get hims shots... He is getting very annoyed and being in the bathroom!! He am been slapping Mommy's feets!

Toby went to the vets about hims bottom (Toby's posts) - just needed shaved so him could stay clean - Toby is a furry chubby boy and not good at cleaning hims long fur. Anal glands were fine, bladder was empty and no fever! Dr. Vet recommended non-alcoholic baby wipes to helps him... He is still hiding from his Daddy Uncle Mike though cause Daddy had to clean hims butt of stuck poopies! No poopies no morh but Toby's tummy am furry ticklish!

will haz foods to eats today cause KFM Cares for others too...  and you helps us do that!! (please purr for Silvia who had sum teefs pulled yesfurday.)


We haz another favor to asks of you...(Pam and Pups) Remember us talking abouts a lady with three doggies that is getting evicted cause the rental house am getting torn down? - We are helping her and her family to move into trailer that Center of Hope and KFM helped put the down payment on.  Katie Mom founded out that Pam and her daughter and son in law had nothing to eat yesfurday and will not have anything fur Thanksgiving today.

So Uncle Mike and Katie Mom am getting their Thanksgiving dinners today.... If you could helps Pam and her family has a goods thanksgiving, could you sends a wittle moneys to paypal at laugh_safely at yahoo dot com using gift to friends?

This will help her doggies and Pam's family has foods to eats fur tomorrow too... 

Even 10 dollars per purrson and furkids would helps a lot fur Pam's family and Silvia and her fur kids to haz a goods Thanksgiving.

• We hads a kitty go to ER to haz a blood transfusion from anemia.
• Jeremiah Midnight finally gotted hims test and he is negative for FeLV and FIV
• Uncle Mike's cat Toby had owies on hims bottom and am going to get checked today.

Wants to lets you know that we will share Mewz furry soon about the kitties and good mewz too.

The Mom only haz so many hands and feets and stuffs 
and after Toby gets checked, her haz to take the truck full of metal scrap to the scrapyard to raise moneys fur us...

Turtle Crossing and Purrs fur Today.

Me am waiting fur the turtles to go by so The Mom can finish painting the porch...I can enjoy a nice day.  Right now all the scrapping am done and then Mom and Uncle Mike put on the primer.

Me loves the Porch cause I gets fresh air and watch birdies.  Ellie May and Molly loves porch too - although I don't likes them - they chase me.

(mom note: Angel and Molly plus Daughter Ellie May take turns being outside their rooms, because they fight...Right now, Molly and Ellie May are hanging out. Angel's turn is this afternoon.)

We gets to check out the porch fur a little bit but them turtles sure am taking a long time to gets out of the way so Mom and Uncle Mike can finish.  Something about Turtles has the greenie papers that am needed to buy the primer.  The paint am been bought and it am a pretty blue. 






The Mom hads a friend helping paint and he puts dat color on the edge. Furry nice.

Well me tells you dats Mom and Auntie Silvia need purrs today. They are both going to clinic. Auntie Silvia am having a well woman check and Mom am gotted hurties in her kidneys and bladder. Her needs antibiographies... hmm. that's not right... Aunty Biotics wants to helps Mom and she has to ask the human doctor where Aunty Biotics lives. I'm confused, but that's okay. I  just want the turtles to go home so I can enjoy my porch.

Please purr fur Gordo too, him still not feeling well and Aunty Silvia needs to pay motel owner for helping him go to Vets... He am looking too thin and Mom and Silvia am worried what am wrong... <3

Hiya this am Angel repurrting with my Chewy Purrview Selfies. Chewy.com sent the Mom some goods foods fur kitties on limited diets likes me cause I can't has corn. (we am not getting moneys fur this purrview, just some yummy free foods).

You am rights!!! Stella & Chewy's am freeze dried and you can adds water to it. Yet when Mom gots the Chickn Dinner bag outs of the box, I wanted some right away, no water added! In fact I ates all my pieces without water. That's how much they am goods.  Stella & Chewy's has several yummy flavors of their freeze dried kitty goodness - no grains and all natural.

To be fair, I did eats some of the Natural Balance. They has several flavors of limited ingredient canned foods that kitties can eat who has sensitive tummies. Turns out Venison not my favorite flavor. After sitting by the bowl, I went back, sniffed the venison, then tried to cover it up.

Updates on our Kitties in need - Angel (and Katie Mom) here to helps out and apurrlagize that's Mom am sick with bronchitis - so we didn't gets our updates done on Caturday and tooks all Sunnyday to fix photos and think of words to writes. (Any of our furry friends can be helps from our katie katz paypal button....)

Furst of alls - Silvias kitty Gordo needs lots of purrz...

He been stressing out from all the noises at the motel and him gots cystitis. Gordo went to the vets several times for muscle relaxant shot and to ER fur antibiotics. 

Thankfully there am so many kind peoples helping Gordo to get better and to pay hims bill. The vet we go to purrscribed some pain meds and a pill to help him relax, but Gordo had a bad reaction to the pill and gotted all woozy and didn't help him go at all. So Silvia will get him another relaxing shot hopefully Monday. Poor Gordo am not feeling well at all and stress of living in motel is really hurting his health.

Auntie Silvia has been working some part time doing bindery work and she may has some more hours on Monday. There am a longer term job coming soon, just not ready yet.  So far only have 50.00 to help with rent and need 100 more. Katie Mom may have found a place Silvia and the kitties can move to, we has to waits and see what the rent and utilities might be. Purring it am less than the 600 at motel. The place has one bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom and is right across the street from our Nana - Katiez Mom.

Liz's Son Devon and Mitchel

Our friend Liz Cornish who haz three kitties did get her car working finally but now her windshield is cracked. Her young son has a disability. Liz only has a part time job due to disabilities herself. She is striving to find a full time job that can help her son and her cats, even if that means she loses her disability money. She is barely making enough to live on and now her son just turned 19 and her ex-husband no longer HAS to send any child support.  

The furry impawtant thing is help to get Mitchell, a kitty I fostered, neutered and her other two cats their checkups. She still has two beautiful handmade rosaries that she would love to share with anyone who can help her with her cat's needs.

Finally, thanks to Erin the Cat Princess, Pearl will be getting her shots and spay furry soon... About the end of October. 

The Mom will be sending estimates to Erin and Her Human Mark in the next week and making appointments for Pearl. She is doing so well at her fosters! What a sweetie!

Elly May And Molly - Kin to Jolly

Our Nana's neighbor - has a sweet black cat named Jolly. He is Elly May's Daddy and brother to Molly, Elly May's mom. Molly and Elly May are staying at the Mom's house.

Jolly had to have emergency surgery to save his life last night. Dangerous abscess by his ear. Don't know how he got hurt - possibly deliberate.

Asking for help and purrz. Had to make down payment of $360 - $200 from donations earmarked to pay Silvia's rent on Tuesday and 130.00 from Care Credit. Even a vet tech donated 10.00.

Do not know yet what final bill will be or outcome of Jolly's surgery. Please pray and share and spare some change with paypal donation button on the top right. Will update everyone on Jolly's condition as soon as info available...

Wordless Ellie May Likes Crochet and Purrz 4 Guero

1:36pm UPDATE ON GUERO!  Silvia took Guero to the vet this morning because he was lethargic and not eating or drinking.  Guero is on sub fluids, but still not peeing well yet... Vet is convinced that Guero's opening is too small (vet consulted another vet).  Guero needs surgery to nip the tip off so he can go. Cost will be 600.00 if this is his only option. I can take him to my vet for a second opinion, but still need funds for that as well. Please need help to host an auction asap. Thanks and God Bless.

Update on Guero...Stopped by Silvia's last night to pay rent from donations. Guero's sides seemed tender where his kidneys are and he wouldn't drink water yesterday. He does not have diarrhea though. Silvia messaged me on FB a few hours ago - that he is very lethargic. She will be taking him to vet this morning. I hope I can make it to go too - this poor boy has been suffering since November. 

I am worried about the possibility of reaction from too many Convenia shots as well... he had another one on Monday...  Hoping to get him an xray finally today or asap. Silvia has about 50.00 to put toward the xray. Cost is about 80.00 for the xray alone. Don't know at this point if he will need to be sedated (another cost), since he is acting weak.
