Quick update from Silvia and Guero: 

Guero had a really bad day yesterday with bad poo and throwing up.  However, he is doing much better this morning. He went to the vets this morning and got a steroid shot and has been on pro-pectalin since Saturday. Silvia applied at Holiday Inn Express today. Still need 100.00 for rent tomorrow.

Just a recap: Guero's mom, Silvia was a victim at the motel she stays at. She was their housekeeper, but another resident sexually harassed her - so she filed charges against him, which made her lose her job. He did go to jail though. 

So now Silvia is trying to find a new job and look after her sweet kitties, especially Guero who had to have major surgery. I've been running a fund campaign to keep her from losing her motel room, until she can get a permanent job and find another place to live.)
