| Taken just before his last Vet Visit for UTI |
May be taking him to ER this afternoon or early morning to his vet. Depending how he is doing... He has been going but was very painful yesterday.
ER will start at 110.00 - unless their assistance program has funds.
His vet keeps relying on Convenia and Prednisone too much as a quick fix. Hard on the liver.

Mom considered getting the Urinary Gold formula for Fiona but didn't. She has read both good and bad things about it. Best of luck with Gordo. Mom and Dad's very first kitty was prone to UTIs. They gave him a pill everyday, and he never had one again. It has been over 30 years ago so Mom doesn't remember what the pill was...sorry. We'll keep Gordo in our prayers. Thanks for hopping. I hope the D Mannose does the trick. After I put Angel Tara on it she only had one very small UTI after that.
I never tried those products either. I had pee problems forever then the emergency Vet got me on a special regimine of regualr meds, but I have been okay for a year and a half now. Four to three meds twice daily, but it works for me. Long story behind it all. Purrs to Gordo from all of us.

Crikey ... poor Gordo!! Those UTI's are crook, aye?? My TWO legged sister gets them all the time. Her Doctor told her to take cranberry tablets and they have real hoped her but I don't know if they would help pussy cats. I hope Gordo gets better soon.

Gordo, you are having such trials. I hope we can find some $ later this month.
It seems that D-mannose helps against bladder infections and the bactery E-coli. A furriend of Granny has been using it against these problems and it helped. We use Homeopathic remedies against UTI's. Allthough it is dependable on the individual animal, Berberis vulgaris is a remedy that can help on bladder problems. It is made of berries and has the same effect as D-mannose. Healing Pawkisses to Gordo and all your kitties in need <3 <3 <3
