Flash's Super Hat Defies Gravity

Without your loving helps this year... many kitties would not haz gone to vets. Like Guero (pic am below) would not have had his life saving surgery. He would haz gone OTRB.

As Chrissymouse and Hanukkat gets closer and this year gets closer to the ends... we are so furry thankful to haz loving friends....

Ifs you can helps us get through to the mew year, Silvia am applying fur works this week, but nothing definite yet and she needs to pay for her phone this month to get return calls.  We still has some kitties who needs vet checkups...

Annie May am bin acting likes her cannot go potty... Lil Bear keeps not wanting to drinks waters (may be a tooth ache) and we still needs more flea treatments.  Bootsie  needs checked fur snoring when her go sleepy... and we still has two girl kitties (Annie and Lulu) needing spayed. Also please purr fur the outdoor kitties who have not shown up, Feral Charlie for more than a week and Bobby the shy Cat (see post) for several days...)


We am just asking fur wittle bits to helps Katie Mom cause dehrs no more monies fur anything (seriously, just helped pay the escrow on Nana's mortgage - except enough to takes Nana out fur Christmas dinner) til next Wednesday. We are going to be selling almost all Katie Mom's furniture and lots of art stuffs too while Katie Mom looks fur part time works that will help support us kittiez. Brian's 8th Gotcha Day

Our Fearsome Hero Flash Returns and Gordo at the Vets

Last Sunday Gordo, One of Silvia's Kitties was not feeling well at all. He had a mild fever, would hardly eat or drink and his pee was foamy.

His brother Ronnie lay near Gordo all day to comfort him.

Early Monday morning, Brother Mike and I took Silvia and Gordo to see his vet.  

Thankfully there was some credit on Silvia's vet account and Mike and I had some money to spare...

Checked his temp and swabbed him... Definitely had UTI. Got Antibiotics and a shot for swelling. Gordo is starting to feel better. He is eating and drinking more water. Silvia and I don't know why poor kid keeps getting UTI's every few months.

Updates on Guero and Mama Narcisca: Although Guero was holding his pee for several hours last week, he started going normally, thank goodness, but he has trouble figuring out where the box is without his boy parts and sometimes he has trouble with all the fur growing where fur did not grow before. He is still susceptible to UTI's - Thank Catness that he is doing well for now. 

Mama Narcisca is being bothered by itchy skin and is pulling her hair out near her tail - could still be mean fleas. KFM was able to get Advantage for Silvia's kids a few weeks ago, yet the fleas here have been resisting the chemical in Advantage. Looking at other safe alternatives... More about that in another post.
 
(We loves Dezi and Raena so furry much! About the products Bengal and Biospot that Dezi and Raena suggested in last post's comments - Each flea treatment uses a different chemical to kill the fleas, some chemicals are more dangerous in how they work than others... Hartz, Sargent and Pet Armor use the worst chemicals with the most possibility of hurting or killing the animal that it is supposed to protect. Unfortunately, Biospot is not natural and contains the same ingredients as Hartz: Etofenprox and S-Methoprene, which caused asthmatic reaction in one of my cats. These parasiticides have caused seizures and killed many dogs and cats all across the nation. Several vets in my town have records of animals dying or had to be PTS due reactions to Etofenprox and S-Methoprene. I am thankful that Dezi and Raena are not part of those statistics. Not all animals react, but too many - that if humans were being harmed these two chemicals would be banned. Bengal may be safe enough to use outside the home, as long as there are no other cats out there... Flash's adventure at the Vets Continued from Last Post. Flash stayed at the Cat Motel at Broadway Animal Clinic over the weekend...

Flash gives me the Bionic Flashy Eye... you can't keep me from saving the worlds!

Mike and I picked him up Monday afternoon. (The vet lets Flash's Daddy, Mike's neighbor keep a running tab. So we did not have to pay the bill yet.)


Flash Meyowled the whole time back to Uncle Mike's house "Why you holds me in carrier?!? Me must saves the world from evilness..." - since his hero powers were no match fur the special carrier we haz to use to keep him from going faster than the speed of light... MOL.

He is staying in his bathroom studio apartment with Iron Man (toilet) until his ear heals and the weather is warmer...

Flash's Vet Visit Selfie

Now fur The Best Laid Plans of Mice and Moms... and Flash the Hero Cat...

Friday afternoon, Katie Mom gotted the patio table tent all done with blankies and tarp over the table... (howsumever, we am going to gets a warmer blankie under the table likes a mummy sleeping bag that am warm to zero degrees) ...and putted straw and blankies in the doghouse on the porch. Flash was loving the warm doghouse - when Katie Mom and Uncle Mike went to get dinner fur Nana and stuffs, Flash was curled up in the doghouse all warms. (Now fur those who wonders about why Flash outside alla times, well hims Daddy has several cats and they come and go in the house so Flash can go home anytime and gets warm. He likes Uncle Mike's house bestest. He does come in Uncle Mike's house alot, yet him been fraidy of us indoor kitties then him wants back out and goes home. He likes staying at the Patio Cafe so Katie Mom fixed up the doghouse fur Flash when him wants to hangout. Him litter manners aren't the bestest and when him stays in Uncle Mikes house, him stays in the bathroom and datz my room right now... but that's about to change...maybe. I don't likes Flash yet - Maxwell Tigger.)

Katie Mom and Uncle Mike gotted home lates, about two in the morning...Sometime between 7pm Friday and 2am Caturday, Flash must haz gone to saves the world and came back with his ear hurted...again

So our fearless humans tooks me, thats Maxwell Tigger outta the bathroom and I gotted to stay in Uncle Mike's bedroom for the night while Flash stayed in the bathroom.
Our fearless humans had about 4 hours sleep Friday night before having to take Flash to the vet Saturday morning. We really don't know what happened but hims ear that had surgery for a hematoma years ago had gotted hurted... pawsibly from another kitty who comed to eat or some varmint. Flash gotted hims wound cleaned out, antibiotics and a shot for swelling. Flash am staying at the vets this weekend while hims ear gets better. Katie Mom will pick him on Monday...
 
Good thing Caturday morning the snow wasn't falling much yet so Flash could go to vets.

Yet by afternoon, it camed down really hard and heavy... Uncle Mike and Katie Mom were doing all sorts of stuffs like getting foods and warm blankies for us kitties and cat foods and dinner fur Auntie Silvia cause her car not started and foods fur Flash's Daddy cause him am disabled.  

Then they finally feds themselves and Nana too way late last night. So that's the story of yesfurday...

and now the humans wish they were napping on Sunnyday... Instead, Uncle Mike am feeding us and helping Flash's Daddy gets stuffs... and Katie Mom am blogging. Sooo cold today again.
 

At least I gets to takes a nap in the sink while Flash am at vets. Him will haz to stays in bathroom when he gets back.

Purrz. Esss... Katie Mom miscalculated abouts the donations we gotted.. and we am soo thankful we gotted them, yet just enough for Auntie Silvia's rent and cat foods, not enough to gets Revolution yet. Howsumever, after me stopped eating limited diet foods, the rash on my neck was getting better same time! So Mom been feeding me grain free dry foods and Sheba Salmon and rash am going away! Might just be flea wars and not foods. Mom sure hopes so.

Guero am doing some betters after holding hims pee earlier this week and scaring Mom and Auntie Silvia... Thank goodness cause just found out that Guero's Mom Narcisca am not doing goods today and needs your purrz. Her been throwing ups... She may haz to sees vet on Monday. -Maxwell Tigger.

Fraidy Outdoor Kitties Thankful Fur Food

I am furry thankful to find yummy food at Uncle Mike's Patio Cafe.... I am furry shy and won't stay to get in one of the shelters to be warm... I may haz a warm place but I don't want nobody to knows...

Flash thinks him owns the Patio Cafe... so I runs away alot... Please help me to be brave and haz place to gets warm.

Going to be furry cold this weekend.

(Katie Mom note: We're going to call him Bobby Brady fur now... Bobby is shy but wants to be indoors again... we believe he may be abandoned or just left outside vs getting him neutered. 

He is not used to being outside. He finally let me touch him yesterday. We still have two girls in the house that need spayed and Maxwell Tigger is staying in the brother's bathroom where we usually quarantine kitties until we can get them fixed and find them homes. 

Will put his photo up on Facebook, hoping someone will step up and take him in. We can get him fixed in a few weeks, but it is furry cold out and he is too scared to stay in the shelters we have. There is hay in the lawnmower shed where our feral Charlie spent last winter. We haven't seen Charlie in several days... There is also an abandoned house next door that stray kitties use to keep warm.)

We stays in the garden behind Silvia Mom's motel... We am furry thankful fur foods... and the other night, Auntie Silvia gave us catnip toys and we played with them and took them back to the garden shed with us.... We are very fraidy but we wants to finds a warm and safe place to lives... Auntie Katie am asking evfurry buddy on Facebook if they haz a garage or something we can stay in.

Please pray that we will loves foods enough to be caught in a trap and taken to a safer place...

There am a dog house that Katie Mom fixed up last year, but no kitties wants to use dat... maybe cause on the patio...or needs a back exit. We don't knows.
