Hi everyone, Katie Kitty Too Here, with Wednesday post before Thanksgiving.

The Mom am furry sick - her came down with yucky sore throat and sore glands yesfurday evening and running a fever too. This morning her has upset tummy.

Uncle Mike bought thermometer last night that not works! All showed was 98 - And Mom had the chills. If you go buys thermometers - get digital one... don't buy dis one by Geratherm - might not work. Hard to hold in a humans mouth - too wide! And furry hard to read....

Mama Narcisca is doing better after being attacked by Molly the feral cat outside.  Her always lets her sons and daughter eat first though. She is so much smaller than they are. She will lick their heads while they eat and then she will eat after they are done.

Auntie Silvia and Katie Mom are want to catch outside cats that come to eat, especially the two furry nice boys, Swirly and Ricky. Swirly has not showed up for several days. We hope he has found a home to loves him. Ricky Raccoon came by last night, but was scared off by Silvia's car alarm acting weird. We have a furry nice lady that will take Ricky and Swirly and she could have taken Ricky last night. We will has to waits another day.  Two days ago Auntie Silvia's car drivers door decided to lock and unlock all by itself and then start alarm. Come to find out the remote thingy was burnt out... Auntie Silvia doesn't use the remote thingy so her didn't know what was going on.  Another motel resident was able to make it stop, but he wants 100 dollars for all the work he did.  Auntie Silvia am applying fur several jobs this week, yet we don't has 100 dollars to gives dat guy fur the car. He should have said that to begin instead of afterwards. Uncle Mike am going to try and see if he can work on the CV joints. If Auntie Silvia gets a job with cleaning service her needs to has a car to go from house to house.

Nana's Bibi has not gone to doctor yet. Her hid yesfurday as soon as Katie Mom came in Nana's house...

Her still needs blood work done. Katie made appointment fur today, yet now Katie Mom am sick.  We hope that there am a doctor on Friday or Saturday we can take her too... Katie wanted to takes Nana out to eats tomorrow fur Thanksgiving... so please purr her feels better furry soon. Right now her am furry dizzy and after her helps me with the mewz, Katie Mom am going back to bed.

Bibi and Silvias Mama Cat need purrz

Nana's Bibi

Please keep Bibi in your purrz. She is 15 years old with CKD. About a week ago, she decided to go somewhere besides the litter box and is now been running a mild fever. Hoping to get to a vet tomorrow.  Will keep update furry soon.

Mama Narcisca

Silvia's kitty Narcisca did recieve a puncture wound from the outdoor kitty when she got out on Friday evening. Claw sheath was found embedded in her neck. Now Mama hasn't eaten since yesterday morning and has been running a mild fever. Silvia put some ointment on the wound but not helping that much... Silvia tried to give her an antibiotic but she spit it out.  Please purr that Narcisca will get well and start eating again.

Wordy Wednesday Thanks From Guero Purrz Fur Bibi

Got the blood panel back on Guero - His kidney panel was in the good range - Purray!!!
Thank you every one for helping us get that blood work done... He needed checked after his bout with
fever and the big D, especially since he wetting hims bed while he had fever last week.  This week he is doing well. Thank you soo much!!
He is more susceptible to infection though without his urethra.  Purrz that he stays well.

Bibi at the vet last month

Katie Mom checked on previous blog post last month about Nana's Bibi and realized that we never told about her checkup at the vets when her was bothered about her ear or mouth. We updated Facebook and forgots to update the blog!

Mouses!!! If had beens really bads, we would haz lets you know fur sure. Well Bibi's ears were fine, her teeth were fine - she had fleas bothering her. Mouses indeed!! Nana's house has never had fleas. Bibi been flea free fur years... Well her gotted Revolution to starts and then will gets another one in about a week and next month too.  

Bibi has had Chronic Kidney Disease for several years and is 15 years old this year.  After her vet visit, Bibi decided to change which litter box to use. She started using the one down in the basement that she had not used in over a year.  The litter in the box was furry old.

Katie Mom cleaned the downstairs box fur her a few times and put fresh litter in. Then Bibi stopped using the downstairs box and is not using the one upstairs either. 

Nana and Katie Mom don't know where her am going potty.  Yesfurday she went poopy in front of the microwave.  We don't know why she won't use her boxes... same litter, yet maybe the litter smell has changed.

She may be using the blankies on the spare bed.  If the change has to do with CKD - then we are furry worried.  She needs to be seen furry soon and check her blood work and see if the CKD has advanced.

Wordy Wednesday Kitties and Vets

Hiya evfurryone... Molly Here - Me don't tell the mewz much. I am a furry smart, quiet kitty. I sat down to see if I could help Katie Mom find her thinking cap cause it fells off lately. We founded it though. we thinks... mol


Got lots of kitty mewz so the Mom am figurin out who to talks about furrst... we talks about Gordo cause there was some confusion about hims bloodworks done last Friday and so Katie Mom thought him needed another

doctor visit. Turned out that him didn't need one cause almost all the tests were done on Friday, save for pancreas and diabetes. We gonna puts a correction on Saturday's and Sunday's posts and date the correction.  Da confusion happened cause Katie and Silvia didn't gets the paperworks until Monday and they were told on Saturday "everything was fine," and not what does that mean?

We still don't know whats bloodworks means cause sent to a human lab that didn't point out what is on low sides and what am on high sides that even if they are in "acceptable ranges" they might indicate something by being close to the border. Gordo's thyroid am right on the HIGH BORDER - exactly the opposite what Katie thought it would be. Right on top of it. So Katie am doing the research herself cause Silvia's vet not telling us nuffin. Her might take the panel to our vets just to see what him says about results.

Now Mama Narcisca had anal glands plugged. Her went to vet on Monday and gots all that yucky stuffs pushed out. A nice lady paid fur her visit. Her gots a shot to helps with pain and a pill to helps with appetite. When her went home with Silvia, her hads a good time in litter box, but her fell down trying to go. Mama am a small kitty.  Her am doing some better, but running a mild fever at night. When Nana's cat Bibi had anal gland plugged, her gotted antibiotic shot, so don't know. Both Mama and Gordo are still having tummy troubles and up comes their foods. 

Katie wants to try a corn free food, very easy fix if kitties have developed tummies not likes corn no more, especially if Gordo may has IBS, yet Silvia's doc says don't change food, just get shot to calm stomach (instead of trying elimination diet to find whats bothering stomach?)...  Howsomever Silvia wants to try new bag of Purina Naturals see if something in old bag was problem  --- Silvia really wants to stick to Purina. (Maybe try Purina Beyond grain free. Yet that high Thyroid with Gordo is something that should be checked again to see if it goes outside of range.)

Now fur some loverly mewz. Pearl spent the night with us (Molly was in her bedroom though and Pearl was in bathroom) Monday and then went into to haz her spay yesfurday. Her am doing all goods afterwards so far. Pearl am recovering furry nicely...  Here am cutie pics when her gotted back to the fosters.  

Please purrz dats we gets Bibi to vet today.  We haz found where Nana's cat Bibi am bin hiding, and now we can hopefully catch her to gets to vet today. Could be a toothache. Her am not been sleeping much lately and her sits by the walkway on the couch arm and tells folks off all day, not like her. Bibi's head has been feeling hot. Her am 15 years old, so vital to gets her into vets. Her new appointment is at 3:30 today.

Gordo back in May

Monday Oct 24th correction Update: Gordo's Blood work done Friday tested for overall blood chemistry and anemia, including thyroid. Results came back Saturday within normal parameters. Silvia will pick up papers on Monday. He weighs 12 pounds which is light for his bone structure. He used to weigh more over a year ago.

He is eating some and keeping some of it down. When I checked on him yesterday afternoon and also around five - his eyes were bright, not lethargic. His skin is very loose, but doesn't stay up. Silvia has been getting him to drink water. He still has an appetite. He even ate an okra last night.  This morning though after he emptied his bladder, he tried to go again a few minutes later. His urine does not smell sweet - diabetes is out.  Still needs checked for thyroid abnormal thinness. There are other tests he could get too. At the moment, he has an appointment to see my vet on Monday.

and needs them expressed again. She was running a mild fever last night - 105, and was throwing up from licking this morning. Need to get her in to get expressed.

And Mom's Cat Bibi still needs her ears and teeth checked... didn't get in to see doc yesterday.  Bibi is 15 years old. Maybe she needs a tooth pulled. Dr. Johnson is really good at teeth pulling and doesn't charge much... sweet Bibi doesn't like carriers and going places and hides... but we figured out her hiding place.





NOTE:  While writing the blog post...

Silvia is stressing out about two cats needing seen and her Aunt is trying to convince her to take cats to the kill pound and come live with her (although she has no extra bedroom that I know of. She would be on the couch). Getting harder for her to look after herself, find work and not getting enough sleep with the cats needing vet help. I may go out to a no-kill ranch today, see if they can take them in, but lot to ask to take five cats - 

Hickory Hollow Ranch - I have been out there. Wonderful place near Leon,  Kansas, yet understaffed. I have talked to them before about working on getting their website working and getting more people knowing about their animals needing homes. They just built a new area for their cats. Silvia wants her cats to be in their own room and that might be possible there.  I can offer to pay their room and board.  The ranch is out near Leon, Kansas. I am headed out there this afternoon after I go speak to Silvia, see if she wants to go with me.

I am willing to do anything to save Silvia's babies and get the stress off of Silvia. I have come to know this gal. She is such a good lady with the kindest heart, always putting others before herself.

Urgent Prayers For Gordo, Pearls Spay Date and Bibi

Correction to Update Monday October 24 - Blood panel on Friday did include thyroid. Received paperwork Monday and results of thyroid showed borderline of high. Should be between .8 - 4.0. Results when taken were 3.8 right on the border of too high. See Wed Oct 26th post) /// 
UPDATE Saturday Oct 22 - Silvia's vet tested Gordo for anemia (white/red blood cells), liver and overall function. Will have paperwork Monday. Thyroid and Pancreas not done yet. Stopped by motel and checked Gordo myself to see how he is doing. He has lost weight, yet he is alert and his eyes are bright. He is getting some nutrition and liquid to stay down. His skin is way too loose. He should weigh more. Silvia's vet was rude saying that she worries too much probably just the flu - Gordo does not have the flu! I am going to see if I can get him in to see my vet by Monday. (Motel owner is letting Silvia do some room cleaning at 10 dollars a day to pay off old vet bill of 175.00). -Katie Kat.

Gordo has gone from this gorgeous boy with gold eyes to skinny as a rail... Something badly wrong. Silvia took him to vet yesterday for blood tests (Checking liver, thyroid, kidneys, pancreas. Thank goodness there was credit in her account) - but lab results were sent out and not done in house. No results yet and her vet closes early. Her vet did not give him anything to help his fluid intake yesterday and he is hardly keeping anything down. My vet is open until four today. I hope we can get him in for fluids while waiting for results. I have some Care Credit to cover at my vets (Hers doesn't take Care Credit) Up to Silvia and she is worried about rent for next week. Still trying to get money to pay back motel owner for previous vet bills. She is going out to sell a camera that she got from someone who owed her money to pay for rent next week. (She applied to work for election board and will apply for work cleaning RVs which she has done before) Gordo is eating a little and drinking, but throwing up after thirty minutes.  I don't understand why her vet only did tests and nothing to help keep his organs functioning.  I am very scared...

Other things happening will update later too:  Pearl's spay is scheduled for Tuesday.

Nana's cat Bibi still needs to have a checkup to find out why she keeps messing with her ears and her mouth seems to be bothering her.

Possibly a tooth. Been trying to get Bibi in to see a vet, she is 15 years old and loves to hide right at the last minute. Had given our vet a heads up about trying to get her in today, but may have to bring in Gordo instead.

Pearl Am Sleepy cutie.. Rainy Weather

Pearl in her mew collar... Foster Mommy am taking Pearl to vets this afternoon fur checkups (along with Pearl's friends Blake, Hazel and two dogs) and her getting shots too.

Foster Mommy has not hads sleepies last night so we gets more updates later likes cute videos and stuffs.

Pearl does fantastic with small dogs and loves having a friend to play with... Help us purr fur her furr-ever home furry soon.

Bibi at the vet Friday the 8th

Updates on Kitties from last Sunnyday...

Nana's Bibi Still needs lots of purrz.  Bibi only had a few days of antibiotics before she started fighting Katie Mom and Nana.  Her scratched Mom's arm really long and bit her too.  And now she hides all the time. Mom will try to get a urine sample to take to the vets tonight. 


As far as the Mom knows, Jolly is healing up very well. And not getting outside... Will keep folks updated on his healing.

And.... some furry good mewz! Enough donations came in to buy the control arms for Silvia's car! And guess who the mechanic was that put the control arms in? Uncle Mike and Silvia's room mate Alex... Both arms were put in the car on Friday! One was harder to put in than the other. Two were bought called sway bar links that connect to the control arms - only 10.00 each and were put in on Saturday.

Thank you everyone! Such a relief to have reliable transportation.
Now with a reliable car - Alex can get more work this month and be able to pay the rent.

Will need help for this Tuesday as Silvia has not been able to sell her laptop and tablet yet and Alex has not been paid yet for work he did recently.

Bibi Selfie at Vet and Other Cats

Hello? My name am Bibi. I not talk here alot
Cause I do not like computers.  Here am my selfie at the vets on Friday.

I do not like vets... I do not like cars... I do not like meds...
I do not like Sister Katie... especially giving me meds.  I yell and growl and open my  mouth and she pokes me with syringe and I swallow yucky stuffs!

I do not like you Sister Katie. Leaves me alone!


I like my Mom. I am 13 years old and furry cranky. I drink water out of Mom's cup and Mom holds it for me.


I like Sheba food, but I do not like KD Prescription food.
but Mom says I has stage 1 renal disease. I may have to
leave her soon someday and I do not want to do that either.

Right now, I has to take yucky liquid amoxicillin... and I'm going to protest
every day twice a day! Please pray for me... I do like purrz and prayerz,

Guero's Happy Sleepy Selfie after surgery (his tail is there somewhere...mol).

Hiya Furry friends of the Internetz,

Thank you so much for helping me have my surgery.

I'm alive and doing really good!  As you can see from my happy, sleepy selfie in my special bed! This am my bed and my brothers and sisfurs and kitty mom don't gets to sleep in it!


Now me needs to ask you a question. Did you know that cars have arms? My mommy and daddy need their car fixed so Daddy can get works.  The car's ball arms on the front tires need replaced and gonna cost 250 dollars for parts and labor.

Only 95.00 for each ball arm and 50 fur da labors. We buy the part first with your help.
And then Daddy can go working out of town and get real moneys... not from people who steal monies! Can you helps please? (you can use the donation button at the top of this blog or use send gift to friend at paypal using laugh_safely at yahoo dot com.)
