 Hiya! Chiquita and me, that's Angel are here with Sunday Selfies and the KFM Mewz Repurrt. After our blog post, we am helping Mom with a backed up toilet... see I am guarding the gloves and the trash bags till mom needs dat...

 


Sum good fings haz been happening...

Furst uvs all, a lady with three doggies, who am being evicted from her home because her landlord am tearing the house down, founded a new place to move but needs help with first months rent because her haz to move before her SSI comes in. The mom was able to gets her an appointment at a place called Center of Hope (she and the lady's daughter and boyfriend had to gets in line at 2:30 inda morning last Tuesday to make the appointment!). The appointment was Thursday and they are going to be able to help with most of the money for the first month's rent, but not all of dat - she needed 150 more. Well the mom mentioned it on Facebook and two folks sent 75.00 - and then yesfurday, someone donated a junk car and we gots the other 75.00 plus a $20 dollar donation! Hooray! Lady will still needs help moving cause her car went kaput plus tags and insurance which is about $148.00. Please purrz and helps fur dat. We don't know what wrong with car. She is going to donate a fridge and a microwave when her moves.

Mama and Kitties am going to Manhattan, Kansas to all get fixed in about ten days... on October 25th. And then go to their furever home. Still need abouts $200 to helps them get fixed.

 

And Mama am going to try and catch kitties tonight at Silvia's motel. We missed trapping them last night due to rain... we were hoping to trap them last night and bring them in to KHS to get fixed this morning but now just need to save them before they get hurt. Another feral kitty caregiver is lending us a drop trap. Also Guero, who had surgery to remove his urethra, may have UTI. He gets them easily... and needs to be seen at the vets.

Cause the toilet overfloweth this morning and da bathroom am where Mama and the babies hang out ...seriously -gotta fix dat. Mama and the babies are hanging out in carriers right now.
 
And we gots folks who needs us to do all sorts of stuffoms today... and we haz to go picks up the drop trap! Too much stuffoms to do and we sure needs purrz fur dat.

Kitten Kisses Mama Cat Needs Dental Surgery

Now for the wordy part of the Tail...
Mama really needs to get full dental extraction done soon. Since her Mom, Jennifer Moore moved from California to Oregon, Mama's Stomatitis has really flared up. She is in a lot of pain, drooling and the drool has now become tinged with blood, and Jennifer is very worried.

She is on antibiotics, but sensitive to pain meds. The vet in Sacramento said her teeth need to come out. Jennifer is searching for a vet to handle the surgery in Oregon. In California the estimate was $1200.00.

Mama Cat (Mitzi) was rescued from a trailer park when very, very pregnant 2 years ago in the middle of winter. She had her babies the very next day in Jennifer's warm bathroom - all of her needs being met. The babies were so beautiful and Mama raised them well until they were adopted. 50 people applied and all the kittens found amazingly wonderful homes... Jennifer said on Cat's Lane that the kitten's families still send pictures. 

Yet after Mama was spayed, she was diagnosed with severe Stomatitis, a severe, painful inflammation of a cat's mouth and gums.  In most cases, the condition causes ulcers to form in the mouth; these ulcers can involve the lips, tongue, gums, and back of the throat. An awful, awful, painful disease and the only possible cure is to have ALL of the teeth removed. 

Most cats do very well once the teeth are gone.  (KFM's Mousie Cat had the same condition and did well after surgery, once her gums healed.)

Our Mommy Needs Greenies To Keeps Our Home

Hiya internet folks... My name am Ronnie and I loves my human Mommy.  Her name am Silvia. I gives Silvia kisses all the time. I have 3 siblings and my Kitty Mama who lives with me.

I gots to tells you that our Mommy Silvia needs 150 green papers for our weekly rent by tomorrow!  So far all we gotted am 15 dollars minus the paypal fees...

We loves our Mommy and wants to stay wifs her!  Can you helps us please?

Hiya Folks, Angel here, still waiting for my forever home... I just finished snoopervising this teddy bear... we are donating to Winnies Wish for their auction November 7 to November 21... Now an Update on Cats in Need Friend.
Last Monday, the Mom tooks Cat food and Cat Litter to our friend in Need... And then On Tuesday, the Mom tooks moneys out of our funds to cover half her weekly rent.  Sylvia is a housekeeper and usually cleans rooms for the motel she and her five kitties stay in, but one of the motel's residents started making trouble and now she has to wait until a court date in November for the troublemaker to be evicted... 

Until then, she is not allowed to work because of a restraining order.  Sylvia and her kitties need our help to pay their rent or become homeless (the motel owner is not giving her a break on rent until the matter is taken care of)

Here am a bio on each sweet kitty.

Narcisca, the Mom kitty.  She's a little shy and cautious at first... very sweet mama girl. Loves all her babies and hates when one has to go to the vet or is sick.  She did some sneezing the other night and worried Silvia. All was good in the morning.  Hope her just had gotted some dust in her nose.

Ronnie - Sometimes he eats non food stuff and throws up Last weekend... He had to go to Dr. Stabby and gets a shot... The Mom was able to pay for that shot out of the Katie Katz fund.  Ronnie is the bravest and liked the Mom very quickly... but he let the Mom know Silvia was the only Mom for him... mol.  He only kisses Silvia and loves to sit on her shoulders.

Natasha - her am very shy... She didn't come out until the second time the Mom visited.  Soo sweet and lovable.

Gordo is a big boy and loves to check new people out from a distance...  He blink eyed with the Mom though.

And last of all... Silly Guero (white).  He meets new people by crawling under the covers so he can't be seen... Yet the Mom still got to pet him... from on top of the blankies.



Well Mommy Silvia needs at least 150.00 for next Tuesday's rent... Gypsy was lost..

My name am Gypsy and Mousies! was I ever lost! 

Last Saturday, the lady says that was October 17, I ran into Auntie Katiez house... well that's her name... You see, I wandered from home looking for Sister and found myself on wrong side of the tracks... for real... The street where I lives has a train track running through it... and a fence to keep peeples out, but no match for my sister and me, cause we be 5 month old kittens.  I was wandering up dead end street cause I smelled Sister... thought I saw her on other side of metal rail thingies... didn't know what thingies waz..I ran through fence and over tracks to other side... wait... where Sister go?

I kepts looking and looking and I gots hungry and thirsty... I asked alla peeples outsides... You seen Sister? Can I has waters or foods???  Everyone nice and petted me, but no foods or waters...gots really lates and then  car run into driveway... peeples got out...lady and guy....they had to be goods, smelled like kitties... turned out lady was Auntie Katie... and guy Uncle Mike.

oh goody... I ran ups and yelled... I hungry! Dey opened screen porch door and I ranned in.....  Auntie Katie feds me and let me stay in bathroom cause da other kitties didn't know me... On Sunnyday, I tried reeelll hard to tells her... You seen Sister Girl??? I looked real hard at her and thought and thought of faces of my mommy and Sister... and meowed. "Where Sister? Where Mommy?" 

Auntie Katie said, "I know you trying tell me where you came from, I can see it on your face... sorry honey, don't know your mommy... I will help you find her."  I slept with Auntie Katie two nights... and then Monday (19th), her was outside talking to neighbor across street... and Sister ran up and asked for foods... and guess what?  

Auntie Katie brought her inside and put me and Sister on screened in porch!!!  Hooray!  Where you been Lil Sister?  I been looking all over for you!  Sister said her wandered around getting petted and next thing she knew her waz on other side and a scary train came by!! While we on porch hanging out... Auntie Katie tooks photos. Then went to Uncle Mike's house, got on Facebook and posted our pics... Our Mommies called her right away!! 

Katie came home and we begged for boiled eggs..(my dinner... mol) dey was goods... and then off we wents home! Hooray!   Here are our Mommies..us together.  

They am Sisters...  We sooo glad to be home! Mousies!!!

Friend in Need of funds to feed herself and cats...
Hiya fur friends... Angel here... so glad that little boy cat am outs of my fur...  Mousies indeed!!!
Gypsy am home and not in my kitchen no more so I can play fetch with my mouses... next post the Foster Mom Katie and I will show you a video of me playing fetch! 

Well.. Foster Mom Katie has a friend in need of funds to feed her kitties...and her self. The lady's name am Silvia... One of Silvia's kitties had to go to vets cause him ate a food that gave him tummy ache... I should know about that cause I eats grain free or I gets tummy aches too.  His name am Ronnie and he went to vets... and get steroid shot... poor kitty.  I hopes I dont has to get those for my tummy.

The shot was 35.00 and Katie paid that out of property tax funds cause we dont gets moneys until Wednesday.... And Silvia's kitties need to eats and get litter... They eats Purina Naturals which works for their tummies...and Tidy Cat Litter... Well weze gonna helps Silvia's kitties has foods and litter this week... Silvia lost her job as housekeeper and now she is out of work and her kitties has nowhere to lives but motel...

Weze gonna gets a big bag of foods and litter... just under 30.00.  Well they need the foods now...  so Katie gonna get it tonight.  Can you helps re-imburse our funds with at least 65.00?  We are hoping to keep helping if we can...

One Crisis Over - Outdoor Cats Safe!

Thank you all for your purrz and prayerz...
My extended family has several homes to help look after rescued kitties... Now they need forever homes asap.... because my mother and I need to sell homes and move in to one home so I can be her caregiver.


For over a year now, two outdoor abandoned young cats had no place to go but a screened in front porch...Animal Control Officer nearly took them the first of September.  Neutered and vaccinated two weeks ago. Transported to a safe country home on the 13th - 150 miles - 2 hours away.  Hooray for "Wordless Wednesdays."

Kody is getting neutered tomorrow and may have a forever home waiting for him but the journey will be 3 hours away... and I can't get there without financial help.

And Now for the Rest of the Story. Hallelujah! Thanks to a very special lady who helps in time of need, Sherri Painter may only need $60.00 for April's rent. They are halfway to their goal. 30 days left.

Help Katiez Furry Mewz Pay 2013 Taxes -Save Our Homes!

We Need at least $1571.38 by May 11 for 2013 property taxes to keep from losing 3 of those homes...We desperately need to pay 2013 or have our homes go back for taxes.... 

Taxes for Three homes 2013:

• Mother's house (and her cat BiBi) : $580.36
• Grandparent's old home $381.13 (my older cats call home and all my belongings are stored. Mother's home and Grandparents' are adjacent to each other.
  They died in 1999)
• My home: $609.89 (where more cats are waiting for their forever homes.)

Several cats in 4 different homes depend on me for shelter, food and love. (Because of the number of cats - they cannot all live in the same place due to city regulations.)

Worst of all, Mother and several cats would become homeless. Mom had a brain tumor removed in 2000 and back surgery 2002. My disabilities make it very difficult to work. Mother lives on my stepfather's Social Security (he died in 2006), but her income doesn't even pay all her bills. My husband's social security helps pay our bills and groceries, all my mother's groceries, medicals and other bills. This month had to help pay Mom's water bill and 2nd mortgage. And each month we have expenses for saving and caring for many kitty lives.

The San Diego Humane Society started to welcome more than 2,000 orphaned kittens to their shelter Saturday as the so-called "kitten season" begins for the shelter.

Cat turned in by family for 'eating too much' will die in NY shelter

Leo is on kill list for Monday at Manhattan Center GIVEN UP BECAUSE HE 'EATS TOO MUCH' YET THIS POOR BABY IS UNDERNOURISHED.! He's borderline anemic and at two to four years old, Leo is only 5.9 pounds. The shelter lists Leo as undernourished.

URGENT 3 Days left: I am worried about a dear blogging Friend, Sherri Painter and her son who are doing all she can to just keep going and find jobs. Sherri is always posting on Facebook (see https://www.facebook.com/sherri.painter.5) and her blog (https://painterpack.blogspot.com/) of animals in need. Yet she is in need herself.
"We only have 3 days until rent is due. And if we don't have it, we'll only have 7 days to vacate." How devastating would be to be so close and get evicted. (Update: Sherry got the help she needed. Go Fund Me Link No Longer Available)

We sent 25.00 last week to help - which was the money for my Passover ticket at my congregation. (I am part of the dance presentation and was able to get my Passover ticket sponsored. With my food allergies, may not be eating much of the meal anyway! Will see on Friday. Hopefully I can get some gluten free crackers to substitute for Matzah.)

Secondly, I am scared about the following: My mom and I just received bills from the city concerning our property taxes for 2015. My mother's properties and My house are delinquent in taxes by 3 years in May...I thought we had till June. We desperately need to pay 2013 or have our homes go back for taxes. Not only losing our homes, but Mom and kitties would have nowhere to go.

Also Important but not as urgent:

• Funds to spay 5 cats. (5 x 60.00 discount at KSHS a local (kill) shelter or 5 x 80.00 at Wichita Cat Hospital),
• Waiting to find out about bills from breaking my toe in December.. filled out financial aid but still waiting to know if bills are taken care of or if I can make payment arrangements that fit my budget.
• A foster home for Mew Mew a sweet pregnant kitty. I may have to take her to LAPP, a no kill shelter. Do have up to 80.00 to send with Mew Mew from selling an antique book.
• I will continue to find items to sell and will be posting some of them on an auction blog. Will share link this week.
• Funds for getting Revolution for all my fur kids of at least one dose each (19 doses) - $318.00 vet discount
  (see post about Jazpurr's Boo Boo).

Without the flea meds for all kitties, Jazpurr may get another rash...
